Fun Gossip Girl Promotional Posters
Special thanks to Gossip Girl Insider reader Blair Archibald (great name) for passing these along. These promotional pictures are clearly official CW material, but we don't know how recent. Perhaps before the Season 1 pilot episode even aired?
We also can't find one for the great Chuck Bass, which we assume is out there, so please post a link or email us if you can find one and we'll add it ASAP!

These are from pre-Season 1. It's obvious cause they all describe those characters at the beginning of that season.
Nate cheated on Blair with Serena. Serena lied about it. Dan was a loner/loser.
The whole thing with Blair being a fake is that she is a bulimic and she tries to be perfect with the perfect boyfriend and the perfect body and the perfect life, but she's really faking it all. She's not really happy. That's why they put 'FAKE' on her poster. At least that's what I think.

The funny thing is everyones sorta changed but Dan is still a loser and probably will be throughout the whole series haha

These are pretty funny. And yeah, they probably were pre-Pilot because it's pretty much describing the four at the beginning. How Nate cheated, Dan was a loner/loser, Serena was a liar, and Blair seemed fake. It's just pretty cool to see them like this. P.S. Chuck's probably not on there because he probably wasn't planned to be a major character.

I'm not sure when was it, but around here (Portugal) when the show began at FOX channel, those posters were kinda all around, like inside shopping centers.
But still, I don't remember seeing one with chuck.

hey im from australia and these were on the ads promoting the first season of gossip girl before it aired on tv.
the one of chuck bass says "sleaze" in graffiti across his face!! im 99% sure

It amazes me the arguments that can start over one statement about a promotional poster from before the show even started. Maybe fake is the personality that the writers originally came up with for Blair, but has since changed. No use arguing about something from so long ago.
