Days of Our Lives

Another week, another Days of Our Lives farewell.

Rachel Melvin, who joined the cast in 2005, will leave the series when her contract expires this spring.

"I called her and applauded her move," Executive Producer Ken Corday told Soap Opera Digest. "I'm sad to lose her."

For those keeping track at home, Melvin joins the following list of actors that have recently moved on from the show:

• Thaao Penghlis;
• Stephen Nichols;
• Mary Beth Evans.
