Chandra Wilson to Join Broadway Cast of Chicago
With our favorite show on summer hiatus, acclaimed Grey’s Anatomy actress Chandra Wilson will join the Broadway cast of Chicago this June in the role of Matron “Mama” Morton.
The 39-year-old actress, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on the hit ABC medical drama, will perform during a four-week limited engagement, Monday, June 8 through Sunday, July 5.
Chandra Wilson, who has been nominated for an Oustanding Supporting Actress Emmy Award in each of the past three years for her work on Grey's Anatomy, has appeared in the Broadway productions of Avenue Q and On the Town in the past.

I live in New York and I'm definitely going to get tickets to see her!!!! When she sang on grey's in "Staring at the Sun" she was amazing and I'm sure she's going to be just as good in Chicago.
