Thursday's Grey's Anatomy had its share of memorable scenes. In this particular one, Cristina tells Izzie that she had no choice but to tell the others about her condition (it was affecting her job), and for what it's worth, she wants her to fight. She wants her to fight.

Hmm the fab 5 in the end and George running to Izzie were by far the ebst scenes of the episode. Why didn't you pick them?

I have to agree Patrick has been amazing in all his scenes, it would be great to see him get the recognition during award season.

I loved the ending of this episode. George was awesome. after such a long time we get to see him on screen for a long time. finally
The way Christina told Alex about the whole thing. wow... i knew she was capable of doing that but still.. wow and the look on Alex face when he got the news.
For a second Derek looked like Doc when Merdith came to see him. lost puppy look.

Kathy-- I SO agree about PD's acting here. Phenomenal!!! Yes, Mer did exactly what he needed... whether he wants it or not. He loves Izzie too, in some small way, even if just through Mer... he will definitely go back- for Mer and for Izzie.
Gabi-- I know what you mean-- George running to Izzie was just... well I don't have words left for it!! And when he opened the door and the smile and how Izzie's expression just relaxed when she saw him.

That last scene with Mer/Der just broke my heart. I wanted her to give him a HUG so bad. But, after I really thought about it I realized why she didn't give him to him. Everybody else had sympathy for him and that didn't work so Meredith came being very strong and stern. He knows she loves him (even though it would have been nice to hear)but she needed to make him realize that he needed to go back to being a surgeon using the gift he was given. Then I realized thats why she had to be that way with him. And it worked. It was very moving. Patrick Dempsey can give the most emotional facial expressions than any actor I have ever seen. I certainly do hope he is recognized this season when it is time for awards!

OK is there a reason why George has had great scenes the last three weeks and you never put them up at all.
Come on, him running to Izzie was by far the best scene.
