I would like to see an interaction between Chuck and Nate on this situation. I mean, they;re supposed to be friends, wth. I imagine it would go something like Chuck asking whether Nate's feeling nostalgic blahblah and Im sure Nate will just declare his tru elove for Blair.. likely point out how Chuck has treated her badly. I dunno.. I mean, thats why Id like to see that interaction, to see what's said..

Nate was amazing this episode, imo. It was obvious that he was interested in Blair romantically the entire episode.
I liked the part in the park when Blair was going thru the Brangelina analogy and Nate was like "Is that ur subtle way of telling me to break up with Vanessa?" lol and then Nate reassures Blair "Dont worry, it's over with Vanessa".
SO SWEET.
Also when Nate went straight to Blair's place after dumping V.. LUUUUV Nair!!

I hated the ending! i started to cry...ahaha. i love chuck and blair. but it was funny how blair was like all over nater and whatever. but seriously i love this show but like you have to put blair and chuck back together. i looovvee i mean loove them. sorry but worst episode. the ending is what made it the worst and not only that but the next preview i mean now i'm thinking they, chuck and vanessa, are not just trying to make blair and nate jelous i think they might likee each other and that just scares me!!!

Well, "whiny Chair fans" i guess this is goodbye, huh? It happened. Nate and Blair got together (yay!) and Chuck and Vanessa hooked up. It's fine though. There are plenty of B/N fans and GG fans to make the show survive so we can do without you all.
Jk. We love you guys.
But yeah, I'm glad to see Blair and Nate back together. Someone said that Chuck spoke for all the Chair fans in that one preview. Well, i think Blair spoke for the Nair fans in the snow scene. There isn't too much drama with Nate (Blair takes care of that obviously) and he doesn't play games like Chuck and so Nate is perfect for Blair. As for Vanessa and Chuck, i was kinda skeptical but after seeing how the writers put them together, i say it kinda worked. Chuck's turning bad again and Vanessa...well she's very different from Chuck.

To V: When V and C kiss at the end.. I personally would not call it romantic. (But the romantic bar has been set impossibly high by Blair&Nate lol So pretty much anything is going to be not that romantic in comparison to Nair..)
But their kiss implied that they def had a good time together and that likely wasnt going to be the last of their "interactions".

someone posted a few back that blair manipulated nate into breaking up with v.. huh?? lol dude, thaat break up was ALL nate. sure, blair didnt conceal the fact that she wanted him to dump her, but the breakup was def just between v and n.
nate said it himself - he just FELT that it was over. he doesn't have to have a real reason. he was over v and fell back in love with blair.
to another poster: newsflash, b hates v = theres no reason for her to feel bad for getting with nate right away lol blair can do whatever the hell she wants and she does!
newsflash #2: why should nate have to wait to be blair's bf just to be sensitive to v? nate luvs blair, life is short, so they should be together! neither of them need to wait!

I don't remember who amongst all of you guys said it, but whoever it was- I couldn't agree more... If you are too immature to realize the talent behind the writing, and if you are willing to give up a wonderful and very entertaining as well as enticing show just because you don't get your way...don't bother watching anyways. The ratings are going down and it's not because the show isn't good anymore; it's because they were so good at making you love everything they've done before, but they made the mistake in assuming that as the characters matured or moved on, or as the characters tried new things, the viewers would too.
You guys need to learn to except change and realize that all of this is temporary. Any good show will include partially what the viewers want but they will also be true to the characters. Yeah, Blair and Chuck seem great on television- but a beautiful romance is just as great as a steamy one, and people should be more open minded.

I have to say that none of the recaps Ive read do this episode justice. When I read that Nate rejected Blair, I was taken aback. I didnt understand how he could reject her and then later on kiss her.
But in actuality, his rejection at J's party is very sweet. It is technically rejection but.. he does it in a sweet way lol He does it because he doesnt want it to be quickie, meaningless sex. Whatevs, it was amazing. LUB Blair&Nate together. Incredibly romantic.

Nate and Blair should stay together! it's just the way it should be! CB was great for awhile but after all the mind games i don't really see them going anywhere. sorry CB fans. and anyway, NB is the core couple in the book so i don't think they should change that.

i think it is funny how everyone hates vanessa for messing up blair and chuck...what about prince charming, nate. he was such a jerk to blair, vanessa, and jenny how could anyone think he was sweet. he falls and love and gets over girls in the matter a month. poor vanessa gets pulled around by him every couple of weeks. i am no fan of jenny but he was pretty quick to abandon her and same with blair.
oh and blair is made out to be way to big of a saint around here....she had some kind of sexual relationship with chucks UNCLE! she did not even care if nate had broken up with vannessa before she threw herself at nate, hasnt she been cheated on enough times to know how much that hurts.

And I haven't seen it yet, but I was just wondering, at then end, when CV kiss after their "fling" is it really romantic? 'SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME! Chuck and Blair can't just live happily ever after it's a freaking tv show for goodness sake! what do you expect. you all shouldnt be watching gossip girl if you expect everything to go your way. I hate blair and nate but im not ganna stop watching because the writers arent listeing to me. thats pretty stupid.
anwyayyyy i lovedd this episodee. rufus and lily are adorable!! and i feel so bad for V, Nate always does this to her. he jsut gets over her in one day and expects her to be fine. nate does not seem like a nice guy to me. he does this with every girl. it is a like deja vu for me.

idk i love chuck lol he's a bad boy but the good is always dying to come out he's just a little dumb sometimes and when he finally reaches the point where the boy next door takes over life slaps him in the face... it sucks... i am not the biggest fan of vanessa i always like jenny with nate serena with dan vanessa with her camera blair taking over the world... lily and rufus are just weird to me idk lol oh well i love plot twists cant wait to see whats next

wow that episode was...interesting. It seemed a little all over the place because there was the NBCV story line than the S getting boring story line, then the rufus being poor story line, and jenny being a complete bitch story line (its one thing to be mad at serena, but did she have to invite a bunch of strangers over to trash lily's house:not very nice.) I'm going to assume from the preview that S will be back from spain by the next episode, she has the only story line that has not completely pissed me off although as much as a CB fan as i am NB is cute, and CV was funny in the elevator scene, just not anyplace else.
is it just me or are most of the gg episodes have been rushed lately? the writers need more character development in order for us to get used to all these plot lines. they keep introducing and throwing things so quickly that we don't have time to savor or mellow over what's happening... then the following week, another twist! i'm not saying i want a soap opera style *like not watch the show for a month and come back and you're where you left off* but simply more development...
for instance, i would have enjoyed to see the bad Blair develop more, and see chuck at her aid like she was...also, see more carter and blair action to make chuck jealous!
i would have loved to see nate and blair's *friendship* grow within the one week frame they had, so us chair lovers aren't so shocked!!!!
then the vanessa and nate *gag* their excuse for breaking up is because vanessa walked out on him? (i hate V but wouldn't you walk out as well if you planned this great summer with your boyfr

Are people forgetting about how blair manipulated nate into breaking up with vanessa. So i'll be glad when blair discovers that vanessa had sex with chuck. Chuck and vanessa have the potential of developing a real relationship that isn't just based on sex. Alot of relationships have developed into something good, despite lust being the first reason why a couple got together. Vanessa is finally gaining a so called "personality" that many on here have posted she has been lacking with her former boring self, and now the bitching and complaining has reached a new level. What more do people want from the writers. Vanessa isn't going anywhere anytime soon. There is still the possibility of chuck and blair as well as nate and vanessa becoming couples again. If for some people chuck/vanessa is so stressful to watch, then stop watching and give yourself some relief.
