Lexie: Mark, I'm dying. Please tell Meredith I love her and that she is a good sister.

I don't understand the reference to 007. Can someone please explain it to me? Was George teased about being like 007?

Mark and Lexie have sibling chemistry or father and daughter chemistry so the person is right, they are incest and gross.
I miss George too and Gizzie.

Debbie VA and Kathi A--
I don't even know what to say. You two must be very strong. Have a great love for life. 3 years of battling and you are here. Stage 4 melanoma is no easy foe.
Are you saying you would love for the writers to have Izzie fight and seek treatment and have that treatment be successful? I think that's where this is going. I think that freak out we see in the sneak peak doesn't last long-- remember Izzie's first reaction was to fight, to choose life.

I am also into my 3rd year of battling metastatic melanoma. Everything Debbie VA says is soooo true. I know who she is because there is a website where we share our feelings and our fears, our victories and our defeats, our joys and our sorrows. Izzie's storyline has many of us wondering if it will be played out realistically or not. I watched the spoiler scene with Izzie and Christina and I have yet to meet someone who does not want to fight - especially someone YOUNG. Sure, Izzie's a doctor and has a different perspective (although a Hollywood doctor), but when you have a 5% chance, YOU TAKE THAT CHANCE, you do not turn your back on it.
Many of us on the melanoma bulletin board have done various treatments, melanoma targeted and non-melanoma targeted, and many of us are still here even though we are stage 4. I wish the writers of this show could/would read the many remarks on the bulletin board and also consult with someone who HAS STAGE 4 MELANOMA. I would love to see Iz

You know that Incest is having a relationship with a relative right? Neither of them are related to each other, and Lexie is only half related to Meredith, so that puts them firmly out of the realms of incest.

Even if I was not a Mallie and Gexie fan, I would hate Mexie. They are so like incest. They have no chemistry and seem so weird together. It is gross!
And Mark is a total jerk plus a bore now. He and Lexie together make each characters so unlikable.
It makes me sick to my stomach.
Looking forward to more George and more Gizzie though. Best part of the show. Shonda is finally listening to us, but we need more.

I am one of those people that think Callie and Mark are better as friends. They understand one another but I didn't like them as a couple. They interact better now.
As for Mark and Lexie, I can't understand why people get so angry over the relationship between them. Its like all out war, with the insult throwing and stuff... Maybe remember that everyone is entitled to an opinion so let them have it without shouting them down... Getting all stressed over it won't help any.

I have been battling Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma for 3 years now. I was originally given 6-9 months to live. Watching this episode was like getting sucker-punched. I am also a RN with too many years experience...too much knowledge. I credit that knowledge as to why I am still here. I have fought all the way for prompt excellent health care. I hope the story educates the population...MELANOMA...it's NOT just skin cancer. 90% of melanoma is PREVENTABLE by protecting ourselves from the sun. It is the NUMBER 1 killer of women ages 25-36. 56,000 new case will be diagnosed this year..8,000 people will die, one person every hour. There is NO Stage 5.
