"I Will Follow You Into the Dark" Sneak Preview
ABC has released a sneak preview of next Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy. As we've written about numerous times, it looks like Derek is reaching his breaking point.
Well, below is a scene from "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" in which he decides he's had enough of people dying on his watch and refuses to operate. Chief? Not happy:

Well, the previews for the next episode all point to Izzie having cancer. But there's more to it, imo. If you play the clip back where Izzie is spilling the beans to Cristina in that basement but we can't hear what they're saying, I believe that the second thing she tells Cristina is that she is pregnant. I'm not an expert at lipreading, but play it back for yourself and tell me if you think she says: "And I'm pregnant." I've played it over and over, and though I can't get the first sentence, I'm pretty sure the second sentence is disclosing SHE IS GOING TO HAVE A BABY! Oh the absolute drama of it all!

Tammie-- you are so right!!! I hadn't even made that connection back to William-- that IS what he said to Der! That's what Der must have in his head, why he's comparing himself to serial killers. The emotions that working on William's case have brought up about his father's death and Mer changing him-- making him see the "gray" of it all-- Der's going through a lot right now. In many ways, similar to Mer's personal growth of last season in her work w/ Dr. Wyatt.
This is gonna be fantastic!!!
Breanne Olver-- Patrick Dempsey's not leaving the show. No worries. Der will leave SGH for a short period and he'll come back-- I'm thinking that Mer will get him to come back to help Izzie. If PD was leaving, it'd be posted all over every gossip rag site....

the episode with the serial killer was far the best in many seasons.
Now GA is really amazing! Can't wait....

I might cry if Derek leaves the show... I've heard that shows are having to cut back their pay for the actors. We might be seeing the start of it here on Greys... ="((

I think I read some where that Izzie was going to confide in Cristina first; seems really odd though! Maybe that will be the interesting part

Now I see the relevance of the serial killer storyline. Derek was passing judgement on him and Dunn kept saying they were alike. Now Derek is likening himself to serial killers because of the people who have died in his care. This show has really been intense this year! Can't wait for Thursday!!!
