Despite its critical success, The United States of Tara will soon be in need of a new executive producer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alexa Junge is leaving the Showtime series, which was just renewed for a second season.
The comedy was created by Oscar-winner Diablo Cody and chronicles the family life of a woman with schizophrenia (Toni Collette).

The show is not about a woman who has schizophrenia. Its incredibly disappointing that people still don't understand the basics of psychological disorders. Especially when its specifically outlined in the show that she does not have schizophrenia.
