Now that he and Rita are married, with a child on the way, fans of this Showtime series can't wait to get a look at Dexter Morgan as a family man.

According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, they won't need to wait too long.

Production on season four begins on May 28. The television columnist reports that if all goes according to plan, new episodes will begin airing this fall.

Regarding any Dexter spoilers, take note, fans: six months will have lapsed on-screen between the finale and the season premiere. Therefore, viewers won't actually be there for the birth of Dexter and Rita's son.
