After a three-week layoff, Gossip Girl returned last night with its usual blend of twists, turns, drama and romantic musical chairs, with a little Jewish humor thrown in for good measure.

Short on cash, Dan took a job as a caterer ... at the Waldorf family Seder ... which Serena crashed ... and Gabriel followed her too ... oh, and her mom and Rufus also showed up.

Meanwhile, Blair received an offer she couldn't refuse from Nate's grandfather - or could she refuse it? - and it turns out that drunken lech Chuck Bass may have a heart after all.
