Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: George One-Ups Alex!
When Grey's Anatomy finally comes back April 23, George gets a new story line. In a bit of deja vu, he once again one-ups Alex (remember the heart surgery in the elevator from way back?) when Karev freaks out in the middle of a trauma surgery. Go George!
As reported by Shonda Rhimes herself, Derek and Meredith are supposed to be getting married in the upcoming 100th episode, and Dr. Izzie Stevens' dying wish is apparently to give them the wedding she may or may not be able to ever have herself.
Is this classic Shonda misdirection, setting us up for a wedding disaster (or an unexpected couple to wed)? Or will Meredith actually become Mrs. Derek Shepherd on May 7?
Stay tuned there. As for Izzie, the current theory of E! Online is that her cancer goes into remission (but producers keep Katherine Heigl in line with a threat of new malignancies), while George joins the Army medical corps, sending T.R. Knight off into the sunset in a way that keeps him available for future guest spots. If they can afford his salary, of course.

ok, before, i dont remember who, but a source said that george would be inspired by owen, right...
so, after he " one ups alex" or whatever, hunt would come and say HEY YOU'RE GOOD in the field, why dont u joint eh army?"

Yeah which is why I hate Shonda. She couldn't care less what the fans want.
I am getting upset. They killed Gizzie as a couple and as friends. Everyone gets more airtime than George. And we have yet to get one GI scene since everyone found out she was sick.
Now she might kill him off.
I think the George fans have every right to complain, and the Gizzie fans have even more right to.
If he is gone for good, I'll just stop watching. That'll fixx the problem, right?

Hey if George does wanna leave and they hold him to his contract and he does do guest apperances. We will probably see more of him than we see now. So don't get so upset until you know what is going to happen. Cause as you and I know all the bitchng and complaining isn't going to help save our favorite actors. As I know, Dr Hahn is still gone and I have bitched and complained ALOT and she is still lost in the parking lot.

Im not reallyy sure what I think about George and if he will leave or not. But I actually maybe think that when Alex freezes and George steps in, it could be his big break! And maybe he will be shown more often in the episodes.
As for Meredith and Dereks wedding, I think that Izzie and Alex won't know how much time Izzie has left and so therefore MereDer will let Izzie get married, and also maybe Meredith and Derek will think that she deserves the wedding since she planned it, cause I bet she'll plan it really well. But, if you look at the video of Patrick Dempsey on the View on March 11th, you will see him talk about the wedding and he says they have a "union," so maybe this means that they will have a small wedding, maybe with only their friends? I am really excited for the episode Sweet Surrender and especially Beautiful Day! (100th episode and someones wedding!!!!! ahhhh!!!!!!!!)

George can't leave. That is all I have to say about it. I would be devastated if he left.
I also want him and Izzie to be best friends again. We need some scenes.

Finally, George on the front line. Kind of curious to see how this works.
MerDer HAVE to get married but not by Izzie's dream wedding. I bet that's why they don't get married in the 100th (IF Ausiello is right but maybe SR is on the road to shock us). They should just elope.

George getting a story makes me so happy too. I just hope he stays. I can't imagine Grey without my George.
