Q: I adored all of the "McFamily" scenes last week on Grey's Anatomy. What's next for Mark, Lexie, Meredith and Derek?
A: For Mark and Lexie, much cuteness is on the immediate horizon. I mean, as much as Thatcher Grey makes my skin crawl, the way things play out when he returns is better than I expected.
For Mer and Der, there's the none-too-small matter of a stern ultimatum coming from the bride. As that gets sorted out, the would-be marrieds will find cause to fast-track their wedding, so get to updating that website, Izzie!

It might be a baby because how are they goin to cover it up wen the bump gets bigger and bigger. That will be difficult the obvious scenario is that its a baby

George is supposed to be leaving the show aw well. It was announced a couple weeks ago.Why would callie be looking so freaked out if it was derek and mer be listening so attentively.

I think it's George in the photo, on the gurney... look at the hair... and look at the expression on Callie's face.

LeAnne, I've been staring at that picture for a while now, enlarged it a bit, but that shirt kind of looks black on my computer... It could be navy though. But I still don't think is Derek.

as for the picture...i don't think it's Derek. The hair isn't right. It's too light of a color and not gelled up enough : ) and Mer would be freaking out instead of listening attentively to ambulance guy. it's either someone knew or george...which would suck, but it would be grey's....
I think it's more probable that the baby is cristina/owen's Derek is pretty much over his woods problem whereas Owen is just getting started. Although the "having company" part is weird. It's highly unlikely Cris could have twins with one fallopian tube, right? And I dunno if it would be a good idea for them to get pregnant anyway. The two should get back together in some other, he's all whole and healed way, not a "oh owen, i'm pregnant" way.
and boo if izzie dies!! me likey her lots! and why is bailey unhappy with getting accepted into peds??

I don't thing that could be a mcbaby, because I've read that "someone is getting pregnant in a big drama serie of ABC" and based on the description I think could be cristina...
But a mcbaby isn't a bad thing :D

If it's a car accident, I don't think George or Derek would be in their scrubs - they don't wear them outside the hospital..

The Ausiello blind item could also have been referred to Lynette on DH, and apparently it's more probable that it is Lynette after all.
I also think that a baby would be a great storyline for MerDer. True, Mer still has to deal with her residency but I'd just love to see those two deal with the fact of becoming parents. It'll come as a full circe paralleling Mer's parenting to her mother's. I'd love to see that.
