As executives plan the fall schedules, a few one-time-only moves are being tested out this week to see how various shows perform during various time slots.

For example, ABC is pre-empting Cupid on Tuesday and replacing it with a new episode of The Unusuals. The future of the drama may now depend on how it rates after an installment of Dancing with the Stars.

A second original hour of The Unusuals will air again on Wednesday night; while Cupid returns to Tuesday the following week.
