Burning Grey's Anatomy Questions For Season Six
As Season Five of Grey's Anatomy faded to white, Izzie stood in her familiar prom dress, with George in his new Army uniform staring back at her in the elevator. The presumed afterlife encounter was the last we will see of either ... until September, at least.
We've discussed the events of last night in our episode recaps of "Here's to the Future" and "Now or Never," and you all have chimed in at great length with your opinions. We just can't help but wonder, in the aftermath, where our beloved show goes from here.
Here are some questions about George and Izzie - who, like them or not, the show and its fans are heavily invested in right now - and those who we know will be back, as we sift through the emotional wreckage of Thursday and prepare, patiently, for Season Six ...
- Will Lexie and Mark move in?
- Will Arizona be around next season?
- Are Cristina and Owen officially a couple?
- Where does a heartbroken Dr. Bailey go from here?
- The Meredith-Derek wedding - officiated by them, with hastily written vows on a Post-It note - was very touching and sweet. But was it the real deal?
- Speaking of Meredith, as Ellen Pompeo's baby bump becomes more visible, is her pregnancy going to be written into the script, or will she go on leave?
- If it's the latter, how will Meredith's absence be explained?
- Is this the most talked-about episode of Grey's Anatomy since the Season Two finale, which ironically ended with Izzie in the same prom dress?
- Is this ambiguity of the ending a deliberate cliffhanger written for that purpose, or the result of the producers' indecisiveness over whether George and Izzie will die - and/or Katherine and T.R.'s own willingness to return next fall?

Will Lexie and Mark move in? - I think personally that they will move in together as they are slowly beginning to get closer and realise their feelings for each other.
Will Arizona be around next season? - Of course Arizona will br around next season I mean Callie gave up everything for her from her inheritance to her family. If Arizona wasn't around was there any real point writing her into the last season and for Callie to go through all of that and be heart broken again.
Are Cristina and Owen officially a couple? - They may not be official at the beginning of the series but I think that towards the middle maybe the end they will finally make it all official and maybe another marriage will be on the cards. Who knows G.A is always giving its viewers new shocks to deal with.
Where does a heartbroken Dr. Bailey go from here? - I think that Dr Bailey will leave Tucker and take the baby with her and start afresh. She will take the Peds job and their definitely has to be a new

I think Izzie is going to die, and that George will survive, beacuse the producers will go on with the love story with George and the stranger he saved.
I believe that Izzie will shut the elevator and tell George that it´s not his time to go jet, or something like that, and they will hugg and say goodbye to eachother.
And when George gets better he´ll be in rehab with his arm badly injured and fight with the unknown girl and end up hating her or someting, and there will be an interesting drama there.
Most likely Christina will find out that Owen is mental or something like that... that would be cool.
Who knows, but the season finale was just brilliant, I can´t wait for the new season to start!

Ohh I'm soo sad! I really don´t want izzie and george dies they are my favorite characters =(.. if they left us, only one of them, "grey's anatomy" is not goiing to be the same..

i think meredith will have a mcbaby, but he/she'll die during delivery or after that because some congenit kinda HOUSE dissease.the point is that sad sad meredith will be back...

I really hope that Mark and Lexie break up for good this season. They are AWFUL to watch.
Evertime I see them onscreen together, it's like watching "To Catch a Predator", just NASTY!
Also, those "talks" we always hear about? Give me a break! Even the writers realize that these actors do NOT have the chemistry to pull off those awful cheesy scenes. Chyler Leigh is an awful actress, maybe if another actress was playing Lexie Grey it wouldn't be as painful to watch.
She's maimed Mcsteamy. He's a boring lapdog that's dating an immature girl that looks like his daughter.
I miss the cad with a heart. He belongs with Callie or Addison.
