Coming to NBC: Parenthood
Steve Marsi at .In the spring of 2010, viewers can look froward to Parenthood. Executive producers Ron Howard, Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind), and Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights) bring us a colorful and imperfect family: the Bravermans.
The cast of Parenthood, which follows the lives of four grown siblings, and their own parents and children, includes Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Craig T. Nelson, Dax Shepard, Bonnie Bedelia, Monica Potter, Erika Christensen and Mae Whitman.
In NBC's answer to Brothers & Sisters, the premise of the show is the return of Sarah Braverman (Graham), a financially strapped single mom, to her home in Berkeley after packing up her Fresno apartment and uprooting her two inconvenienced kids.
There, she's greeted by an opinionated father, Zeek (Nelson), and a strong mother, Camille (Bedelia), who are dealing with their own marital issues, and is reunited with her three also struggling siblings Julia (Christensen), Crosby (Shepard) and Adam (Krause).
