Ratings Report: Big Ratings for The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory enjoyed its largest audience in a month for its second-season finale last night: 9.8 million viewers tuned in.

Overall, the CBS sitcom drew 20 percent more fans this season compared to last.

Among other primetime pickings:

• House (12.3 million) and Gossip Girl (2.3 million) both saw an increase in viewers.

• Where did this come from? Castle (10.6 million) earned over two million viewers more than last week.

• Dancing With the Stars (18.3 million) remained the highest-rated show of the night.
