And, no, Dominic Monaghan is not taking over the role of George O'Malley on Grey's Anatomy.

Rumors about this actor's status have been floating around since he appeared on a recent ABC commercial that hyped the network's fall season of shows. Why would Monaghan be hanging out with fellow ABC stars, such as Patrick Dempsey, if he were not signed to a series?

According to E! Online, he is - and it's Flash Forward!

It would be a natural progression for Monaghan, as ABC hopes this new drama garners an audience full of Lost viewers, those yearning for more mystery, especially once the latter show goes off the air in May 2010.

E! offers no word yet on Monaghan's character, but reports he won't introduced until at least the second episode.
