While Glee will treat viewers to a number of cool guest stars this fall, we're sad to report that Beyonce Knowles will not be one of them.

However, the singer's music will play a key role in a storyline featuring the character of Kurt Hummel.

On the September 30 episode, Kurt is caught by his dad getting his groove on - in a leotard - to the Beyonce song "Single Ladies." In order to cover up this incident and/or its implications, Hummel tells his dad that he's the high school football team's kicker. Seriously!

Somehow, the glee club member actually lands himself the position and, according to E! Online, becomes a local hero when he helps the squad break its losing streak by incorporating "Single Ladies" into one of its on-field plays.

After all of this, Kurt's father discovers his son's sexuality anyway - but, don't worry, he's cool with it.
