Gossip Girl Spoilers: Hilary Duff, Dan and Serena, Etc.
E! Online has some scoop on Hilary Duff's visit to Gossip Girl, the response to which can best be described as mixed from the comments we have read on our site since the move was announced. Here's the latest on that touchy subject and lots more ...
Q: So excited Gossip Girl is back in production! What can you tell us?!
A: Sorry, Hilary Duff haters, but Duff joins the Gossip Girl cast as Olivia, and she'll be getting her movie star cooties on the entire cast, not just Vanessa and Dan.
Also on Gossip Girl this season, Chuck and Blair are totally getting married and having a million babies. OK, not that, but they are staying tight. Yay!
And, believe it or not, the show really is trending away from "Dan and Serena are the one true pairing of Gossip Girl." Certainly, that arc might turn back sometime in the future, but for now the show is trying to establish their separate identities, apart from their on-again, off-again shenanigans.
Is that great news or the worst thing you've ever heard?
Q: Are we actually going to see Serena's dad on the third season of Gossip Girl?
A: It is decidedly so. We will finally meet Serena's dad this season on Gossip Girl.

--At least, all Dan-Serena fans won't be disappointed at all. I'm a big fan of the Dan-Serena team up but I don't want them to hook up in season 3. I'd like to see them on their own. Too much drama for both of them for the past seasons. It's time to build up their own identities. :)

Thank God for Chuck and Blair! I also hope that Dan and Serena be an item on the future, but I do get it that they need the break and to grow up as characters, I do believe that they are equivalent to Ross and Rachel on Friends, Chuck and Blair are sort of equivalent to Chandler and Monica but their interaction is very different from the one between Chandler and Monica. Don´t get me wrong I do like Nate a lot, the thing is right now he's like the loose canon, he could end up with practically anyone (hopefully no Blair, I think they have tried that enough). I also don't mind Jenny, Vanessa or even the new kid Scott (of which noboday has said anything) as long as Vanessa or Scott don't mess with Chuck and Blair I don't mind. Right now I also don't mind Carter with Serena or whatever is happening there, even though I didn't see it coming because it believed she would maintain her guard up with him (it also might not be what it looks like) but at the end I would prefer him with someone else (not Blair!), even if it is Georgina or something like that.

I hope they bring some of the first season's humor back into the shows. They kinda dragged out the drama. But I am so, so excited about Chuck and Blair, it seems like everyone thinks they're doomed to fail because they fight so much, but I really think they'll go extremely far. Even if they break-up, it's just... endgame. It always has been.
Jesus, from the moment the limo scene played on air the first time, Chair fans popped up around the world and were screaming, "IT'S ENDGAME, NAIR BITCHES. :]"
We've suffered so much last season and we deserve our hot, steamy Chair scenes, damn it!
