FlashForward has landed an Oscar nominee.

Shohreh Aghdashloo has signed on for a recurring role on ABC’s new drama.

“It’s really exciting,” said the 24 alum and star of The House of Sand and Fog.

Aghdashloo, who wouldn’t reveal anything about her character, said that producers have taken extreme steps to keep the show's storylines and secrets quiet before its September 24 premiere.

“They didn’t even let me see the pilot in my home," she told TV Guide Magazine, adding that she watched it at her agent’s office with someone from ABC present to take the tape back after she was done.
