Brandon Routh to Guest Star on Chuck
Faster than a locomotive, Superman star Brandon Routh is rushing over to NBC.
The actor has signed on for a multiple-episode arc on Chuck, sources have confirmed to Michael Ausiello.
Routh’s character, Shaw, is an intriguing new spy. He becomes the leader of Operation Bartwoski, taking on the role of mentor to Chuck and vying for the affections of Sarah. Routh debuts in the season’s fourth episode.
Sadly, as of now, that won't be until some time next spring, as Chuck isn't scheduled to premiere until March.

Love triangle, competition for Sarah, Competition for Chuck--hopefully there will be time for some good action and comedy--Sounds like F&S want a season 1 and 2 all over again--guy's lets have some entertainment and forget all the "angst"--sounds like some people are a little short on creativity--Some of the visitors sound great but 6 episodes of Routh(or any other visitor) when there are so many storyline untapped leaves me a little cold. I am sure many will disagree but that is ok--I may record the epsodes and only watch the ones I will enjoy--too bad, I really enjoyed most of seasons 1 & 2 but I just get sick of all the angst mentioned in the spoilers--however I feel apathy coming on so maybe it will not be bad at all. I wish they would bring back "Life" or "Moonlight" which I preferred over Chuck--.
