Spotted on the Gossip Girl Set: Hilary Duff!
Guess it's really happening, and there is no turning back now. Like it or not, Hilary Duff will be in the mix on Gossip Girl this upcoming season. She was spotted filming scenes on the New York City set yesterday. Here she is with Penn Badgley ...
Penn Badgley and Hilary Duff shoot a scene as Dan and Olivia.
Duff will be playing a movie star who matriculates at NYU in search of the traditional college experience. She supposedly romances Dan, who is unaware of her fame.

At first I was skeptical of Hilary Duff joining the show, however I was a sucker when I saw this picture. I mean already I'm loving her laid back similar to ME style and actually think that her and Dan look.... refreshing!
I can picture her character being quite sweet, chilled and "cool".
Not the "Typical" High Fashion look oposed to Blair's and Serena's which for a change I'm liking.

hil can pull this off, she has proved in some recent movies that she's very nice in indie flicks, making a fool of herself and becoming someone really different from who she is. just check war inc or what goes up.
it is sad that some people claim that she looks fat, i think any normal girl would look fat with some of the gossip cast next to them, she is perfectly healthy and looking foward to see her on tv again.

Dan doesnt belong with Serena anymore. I used to think that they were end game but I dont anymore. I love them together they are very cute I just dont think they are going to end up together. Hilary Duff is gorgeous I thin she can act and she should make the story lines quite interesting. If the writers give her a interesting personality and interesting story lines and make her interact with more characters than just Dan and Vanessa i will love her more than I already do!

I love Dan and Serena, but I also LOVE the idea of Hilary on the show !! Since I know the romance won't last, I don't hate Olivia. For now. lol

Am I the only one who's not excited for Hilary Duff to be starring in Gossip Girl? Seriously, she can't act and her voice is annoying. On top of that she doesn't fit in with this show. Let's hope she doesn't stay long. And let's hope this season is going to be a lot better than season 2. Please, no more stupid guest stars coming in and out.
