I like this episode... the way it was done is the way they wanted it to be done. The writers definitely wanted it to be dry and sort of subtle in a way because the characters are all feeling the 5 stages of grief in their own way. The end is all about acceptance. The ending was great and I loved how they played "Today Has Been Okay" by Emiliana Torrini, the same song played during the "Into You Like A Train" episode when Bailey stops the elevator so Derek can cry. That whole ending was wonderfully done. I think the episode was not bad, but it just was that way because it was meant to be that way

Also not sure about adding this whole Mercy West thing to the mix, I hope the show doesn't become another ER. That show was great in the beginning but than too many people and the show was ruined. Not liking the chief either by the way.

This episode was so disappointing!!! And yes WAY TO MANY COMMERCIALS!!!!!!!! I did like Owen and Cristina but the episode over all was not great. I miss Meredith in the show she had little face time though I understand why, the Callie Mark thing was bad, if I was Lexie ... and i don't know I am disappointed, I hope this is not how the whole season will play out.

this was definitely not the premiere episodes i thought it was going to be. we waited since may for this??? it was soo subpar. if the writers continue like this, grey's anatomy will be HORRIBLE.

i forgot, at george's funeral mer, cristina, izzie and alex laughed of all the crap that was going on their lives. it seemed to me like it missed something, i barely feel like it was george's funeral:S but that's my opinion..

And it seems that Yang better change her attitude, or she just might be the next to get thrown under the bus. No pun intended. On that note, rest in peace, Georgie-Boy....it just won't be the same without him.

okay,, soo until now everything's happened way too fast, it's been like 23 days after george's death and it seems as if it didn't really affected them:S callie's working at mercy west, mark and lexie are moving in together, mer/der are having sex everywhere and alex's being an ass with izzie.

Incredibly under-impressed with the first episode...I liked George, didn't love him, but I really liked him and that was it?!?!?! Seriously!?!?! Wow...George was the heart of the Fab 5 and this is the send off he gets? SMH...I hope episode 2 was better then this.
