I thought that was and ok season premier. Not as good as some I've seen but still pretty good. I guess the only thing I didn't like was the talk of change. And I don't really know what Callie is going to do. Makes me a little nervous her going to mercy west. I hope the chief gets over himself and gets her back to SGH. Erica come from Mercy West. In my mind Erica went back to work there. LOL!!! So Callie just might run into her again. LOL!!! I know I'm dreaming. LOL!!! I do love Callie and AZ. But I miss Erica still.

Mother of God, I'm not even half way through the season premiere and can't believe my eyes. Is this what the rest of the season is going to be like. Doom & dispair, death, disruption, disrespectful of authority,(not to mention reality) all about the characters and nothing about the patients or medical procedures???
One minute their in each others faces, the next their in each others arms. Boring!!!!!!
Geeze this is painful. I think I will turn on something else
something that can stay focused on a story line or plot for more than five minutes......

Lina, yes, it's 9 for eastern and 8 for central. When I lived in Colorado (mountain time), they went off of the central time as well - even though they were an hour behind. I don't know what they do on the west coast.

I think I know, but when they say at tv-series trailers "At monday 9/8 central" or something. Does that mean that it air at 9 in the eastern timezone, 8 at central? And mayby 7 at another timezone?

Organ donation has been very present as a story line many times. George was present when Iz donated bone marrow to her daughter, so it's very likely that organ donation will happen.
I can't remember if Callie and George divorced, cos it seems to be Callie's decision, not George's mom.
It does appear to be an RTA with the Chief involoved, so it could be the pivot that makes Der stand in as the chief, and cause the tension that I've read about in the spoilers. Interesting.
Anyone read the episode 4 spoiler that Meredith has to save her dad? Will there be tension between Mer and Lex? Surely Mer shouldn't be treating her dad, even if they are estranged.

I don't know why, but the way this show works, or how it has been explained to me, it almost seemed like there was no work to become an attending. I just thought that's what happened when you were done with your residency. I could see if you were looking for a job in another hospital to need to apply.
And I don't see Arizona being really insensitive. I mean, if Bailey is still at work, it makes sense for her to still be working. I think this would be a lot different if Arizona had interrupted her while she was waiting to talk to a grief counselor or if she was leaving early.
Plus, maybe it was just Arizona's way of letting her know that life does go on and thinking maybe Bailey could feel better and get her mind into something more productiive.
We have to remember as well, Arizona and Owen don't know George like the rest of them. I'm sure there are others in the hospital who are not going to care either because they never worked with him. That's just how it goes in any situ

Dr. Chang is the head of Ortho, and he is not retiring so the attending spot is no longer available, so now the chief is denied Callie the job. The chief is asshole.

I'm giving the episode a chance but they really need to cool it about the organs thing. I'm an organ donor myself and everything, but please, we just lost George so I'd rather they talk about how amazing he is than about the organs all the time.
They need to mention it of course, but the three sneak peeks here about George were about his organs.
And we had the one with Owen talking about his organs two secodns after he died. Enough already! We get it!

Hannah, I agree, they have only mentioned those damn organs. Who cares, really? Well, mayby the ones who needs them, but all I care bout is george. So I dont' know what they r thinking, But to be fair, we have only seen like 10 min. if u put al preview together so we don't know what happend the other 70 min of the premier.
