Grey's Anatomy Season Six Premiere: The First Five Minutes!

We don't often get to post Grey's Anatomy spoilers that are both this lengthy and verifiable. The full first five minutes of the Season Six premiere have been released!

The scene is the ER, with the doctors frantically trying to save George. They cannot. Meanwhile, O'Malley's ailing best friend Izzie has pulled through ... at least for now.

As Alex ponders the best way of telling a still-dazed Izzie what happened to George, Mark and Lexie hear what happened to him, and she makes a startling declaration:

What do you think of the clip? Are you excited for the Grey's Anatomy Season 6 premiere or are you a little disappointed with this preview? Sound off below with comments!

I don't know...I could see how the "denial" thing could play into Lexi making that declaration, but they all seem so happy in the other clips they've given us, so...maybe that wasn't George there. BUT, maybe George goes over to Iraq and dies immediately? That would explain him being in his uniform more, Izzie saying that he'll die over there...PLUS, we have two hours of a premier, and a lot can happen. Maybe that funeral scene isn't until the next episode or the one after. You GO SHONDA! You have us all as the edge of our seats as always!!

The morning after the premiere you need to get online to www.abc.go.com -look up Grey's and you can watch the episode there. It always shows up the next day. :)

There's too many harsh words in all these posts. Shonda may have made mistakes but she is the creator of this show we love so much. She's keeping the show kinda realistic....and realistically you can lose a best friend. Yes it's going to hurt there will be many tears shed from everyone but please stop all the complaining. None of you have seen the premiere yet so you don't know what's going to happen. No matter what happens in these episodes, I think everyone who takes part in writing this show are incredible. None of you could write it better...so just relax and wait for Thursday night to come around.

"He didn't whine for months on end about it"

It would be wonderful if his "fans" could follow suit.

Even if you watch this the day before the premiere, its still a bad idea! GA is a genius show.

Watching this was probably not the best idea.
    haha

DoN't feel bad. That's why Shonda put him on the backburner the whole season, according to her, so we would not notice his absence. I'm George hugest fan in the world and I didn't think anything strange with his absence. I just got annoyed this was George's last episode and we were again cheated out of seeing him.

Not seeing him got so normal on Grey, which makes me so mad because those were our last moments with him and we were cheated out of them.

I feel like I can't let go of George because of it now.

As for Izzie... it depends on how long she was coding before she was brought back... anything 10 minutes or more would have rendered her a vegetable.

Owen wasn't being insensitive. Organs only have a short time before they start to break down, and if George is a donor they need to come right out (if it is George, right? lol). It always seems insensitive, but this truly is how it works at the hospital. With organ donation, there is no such thing as a "right time" to bring up the subject. It's now or never and those organs start to break down. Then they're no use to anyone.

I've also thought about the hype surrounding T.R. Knight's departure from Grey's. It seems a little strange that they would let the cat out of the bag a WEEK after the season 5 finale. Perhaps he will wind up being in the Army for a season and Izzie will wind up dying afterall? Or maybe Izzie will be back for this season before she dies. With her form of cancer, death is usually inevitable! Sorry, guy

Maybe he's not dead. Maybe he left and joined the army after all. That leaves a small glimmer of hope that he'll come back later!!!

I am completely underwhelmed. This season will have to be pretty impressive in order for me to stick around to watch it and I've been watching since that first Sunday night so many years ago. Its hard to watch a show that is captained by someone who lacks integrity completely and that is Shonda Rhimes. Goodbye George and goodbye to the Grey's that I used to love.

    Why's Callie all worked up?
