Dan refused to accept Serena's watch because he couldn't afford to get her anything that nice. He has more access to money now, or either that watch isn't that expensive (although Olivia's supposed to be a big movie star).

Dan accepts the watch from Olivia, but in Season 1, he refused to accept the watch Serena gave him as a Christmas present. He's definitely getting used to Lily's money!

Don't be sorry for the Blair fans. Be sorry for the ones who take the show too seriously, and think that running a profitable business has something to do with integrity. :-) This is a soap opera. Leave integrity for philosophy majors. Bart was written to be in the public's eye, and he dated half of Manhattan, and that didn't affect his business success. Well, until he lifted his leg to step over that old bag Lily, tripped and fell to his death. You should write relationship advice columns. :-)

Haha I was frustrated with the watch thing too!! So glad to know I'm not the only one ;)! I'm a HUGE D&S fan.. they're S & Lonely boy and they belong together! They should be in a secret relationship despite of their parents being together and their supposedly shared sibling (I am still hoping he will turn out not to be rufus's son) That would be OMFG!
