Eric Braeden is NOT Leaving The Young and the Restless
Phew. That was awfully close.
After weeks of contentious negotiations and a public spat, Sony has confirmed that it's signed Eric Braeden to a new deal on The Young and the Restless.
Braeden himself was prepared to bid farewell to his beloved soap opera after it demanded he take what he described as a ”substantial” pay cut to his seven-figure salary. While terms of a new contract are unknown, sources say the actor has agreed to a three-year deal.
“We’re very happy that Eric will be remaining with The Young and the Restless,’” read a CBS statement. “Victor Newman has been an important part of the Genoa City canvas for nearly 30 years, and we know our audience will be tuning in to see what his plans are next.”

I pray this is true...Y & R would not be worth watching without Victor/Eric Braden!

I'm so glad to hear Eric Braeden is not leaving, what would the show be like without him. We need someone with brains (and brawn) on the show, all the cute eye candy is great for the younger gals, but personally I like more substantial men. I have met Mr. Braeden in person in Toronto at a tennis tournament several years ago and he is a very charming handsome man.

Thank goodness he is staying as the show would close soon after, he
is the center of the soap, a great actor, love to hate him. Every thing just revolves around him. For ONCE the VIP's heard the PEOPLE, THE FANS, the ones that keep the SHOW GOING.

When is Adam going to get whats coming to him, no one is that smart and Ashley needs to get a life she has a boring part I fast forward when you show Ashley. Nick and sharon makes it exciting phyllis is boring with Nick put her with Jack and call it a day.
And let everythin com out about Adam, but please donot put him with Sharon, he someone as devious as himself who he want know if he is coming or going,
