The best episode that i saw.the chief is certainly an ass and inadequate chief because after 10 hours and then 21 hours the says "YOU FIRED IMMEDIATELY" maybe that the chief says this!!!
I loved the sweet MerDer bedroom scene ,there's the Post-It in the room and their music them (you listen from 3x21).I loved the whole surgery by Derek and the Isaac's speech.I loved the last scene ,when Derek sleeps on the Meredith's shoulder is adorable.I loved Shepherd's Anatomy.Channdra has been a great director,the scenes weren't broken as usually.Enjoy the Emmy goes to Patrick Dempsey for the playing and Chandra Wilson for the director

I find it a little hypocritical that you're bashing at Alex for being a "whiny little bitch" when George was the same way for the latter portion of season 2 when he couldn't have Meredith and then for all of season 3 when he was going back and forth with his affair with Izzie. And Izzie has been whiny for all of season 3 because she couldn't have George and then all of season 4 during the fallout.
See what happens when you paint a rather broad and vague brush over characters without considering the all the details? You can paint the characters to look how you want them, that doesn't make it so.
Alex has been this douche since season 1, but that's just an oversimplification of his character; like the rest of the GA characters, there are multiple layers and Alex is just getting his peeled off with a wife who has cancer and who gave him a Dear John letter. That makes me laugh. Is that the real reason that GA has been low on ratings? At least get facts straight. GA may not be winning nights but they win the demographic, to a point, more important than the numbers.
The Mentalist is a new show (they'll have high ratings either way) and GA has won CSI on some nights this season.

I loved last nights episode, it was the best so far this season! I loved Isaac and his words of wisdom. And I loved Derek and his struggle through the surgery and his time with Meredith, and how he handled the chief at the end. I really don't like the chief this season. Loved this episode!

It was the lowest-rated one anyhow. I guess the George and Izzie fans won't watch without them. The ratings this year are the lowest they ever be and they keep being crushed by CSI and The mentalist. They even get beat bu repeats of NCIS, LOL. The way they treated George and TR, and now are trashing Izzie, I couldn't be happier.
At least Izzie dumped that jerk Alex. God, does he ever stop crying? What a whiny little bitch!

Don't know what kind of grudge the people here have against Reed! I have really been liking her since last episode! She's very attractive but not as arrogant as we got to know her in Invasion. I think till now, she only tries to help Alex as she sees that he is suffering from that Izzie-dilema! Not to mention there is something more waiting for us in the next episodes than just trying to help ;) And btw I'm really looking forward to it!
I like this Character-centric storylining atm! Last time it was about this patient, today it was about Derek and Isaac, I think that is the best way to deal with that hudge cast they have at the moment! And I really hope to see Reed, Charles and Jackson for a while from now, as new characters are allways unused and there is a lot of stuff you can do with them!
Dereks storyline was as great as expected! Till the end, I didn't know if Isaac would make it or not, very well done! Can't wait for next weeks epi as it will be about Arizona!
I hope derek doesn't really get fired. but yea, that was... wow. just a brilliant episode centred around our beloved McDreamy

I MEAN... OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys i absolutely loved this episode!! It totally kept me at the edge of the chair and.. OMG! Derek was soo.. OMG I LOVED HIM! Wow! And MerDer.. Oh GOD! We only saw glimpses of them but.. OH GOD, it was soo intense. I loved when he painted the tumor on the wall! And I love Cristina and Hunt, today. It's probabilly the one time that this is happening but.. OH GOD! They were gorgeous! And I kinda cried-laughed when I saw Arizona defending the door! And Lexie and Mark! GOD! I missed them a little during those episodes, but today I loved their eyes looking at each other! And Lexie! She was amazing, totally the best.
Today I loved Reed. I mean, I really liked her, except for the thing that she's gonna ruin Alex's marriage. Oh, yes, Alex was great too.
And Izzie. OH MY GOD. She didn't show up. She isn't doing the chemio! What does this mean? She's gonna letting herself die?

Arizona and Callie were awesome; the diapers were hilarious; Cristina and Owen were sooo sweet (when he wanted her to scrub in the 12-15h surgery and she was all "yeah, i'll go and get a diaper!") and McDreamy kicked ass.
also loved it when Lexie shouted at Der that he should drink something.
i felt so sorry for Alex because Izzy didn't show up :( i hope that they can fix the relationship, i really love them together.
MerDer was cuuuuute! and the chief...omg, i hope he will be back to normal soon because he really bugs me.
one of the best episodes of this season so far.

OMG, Best epi in ages!! Patrick Dempsey is even more awesome than I thought (is that even possible??). Thank you Shonda for giving us Mer/Der shippers our wonderful couple again. Even a few seconds of them like this hit it out of the box...even w/8+months pregnant Mer, Ellen & Patrick have that chemistry. You can't fake that...they are incredible together.
Luv Christina, she was so fun to watch, Justin Chambers keeps getting better & better...makes me laugh, cry & laugh some more. Loved Der & Christina, even Der & Lexie were pretty good, even though I thought there was still too much Lexie.
Chandra was brilliant in her directorial debut & as always as Bailey. Now if you can get rid of the newbies, things will be perfect. At least we didn't have to see all of them.
I loved the part when Arizona stood up to the cheif and called him a bully!! It was awesome! And then she broke down and cried to Callie, but I stilled luved her!! Seriously, the cheif needs to get it in his head that he is making some bad decisions. He cares more about the bored then patients and their lives and even his friends!! Only one other episode that Izzie won't be in, and then she's back!! Yippie! I can't wait for Izzie! I hope she drops Alex like a hot potatoe. He's a selfish jerk who doesn't deserve Izzie. I did feel bad that he waited for Izzie and cried over her, but he doesn't have to be such a jerk to everyone all the time!!

Liked the episode, Lexie, Mark, Derek, Christina, Callie, Owen, Arizona, Bailey and Meredith! All our original characters...yay!!!! Love Alex and any scene with him except tonite.....I DON"T LIKE REED AND SHE DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT NEED TO HOOK UP WITH ALEX!!!!!!!!Some relationships hit bumps and you suffer but it doesn't always end up with the spouses cheating on each other, that is adultry and I understand it creates drama but some things just don't need to happen all the time! I know he is upset but let Christina or Meredith be his person to cry to bc we know that they won't be doing the nasty. IZZIE GET YOUR BUTT BACK AND FIGHT FOR WHAT IS YOURS!!!

Am I the only one that is tired of the monologue's and the same ol' writing and "speeches" everyone gives every time they open their mouth? The writing in the first three seasons because they used that repetitive writing and "speeches" once in a while with the "she's my person" or Mer's "pick me choose me" but now it seems like everytime someone opens their mouth they're giving one of those speeches and it's just very tiring, I do a lot of eye rolling now when I watch Grey's.

I love when Derek is talking to Merideth about his surgery and their "song" comes on. I really love them together.
I loved it when Lexie told Derek to "drink" when he refused and when she told Jackson that she was hardcore for wanting to wear a diaper during the surgery.
I cried when Alex was....when I saw him waiting for Izzie to show...and she never did. I am begining to dislike her even more:) I am however, starting to dig that reed chick.
Great episode....I am glad that they are showing more of the doctors and not who is sleeping with who in the on-call room, this season.
Can I just say.....I want a McDreamy, too!!

I though last night was a good episode. It was completely centered on the medical aspect of the show, with no personal drama which was kind of refreshing! I loved the humor and it was kind of nice not having SO MANY doctors, interns, etc. in the mix. You gotta LOVE Derek.
