Grey's Anatomy Promo: "Give Peace a Chance"
Below is the first promo for next week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Give Peace a Chance." The new episode will in fact air next week, despite previous reports of it being a repeat.
The tension we've seen building between Derek and the Chief all season long heats up in a big way next week when Derek wants to do a risky surgery to save a SGH lab technician.
All we've got to say is that we're excited for a Derek-centric episode, and happy that at least someone has been standing up to the Chief, who seems like he's steering a sinking ship.
Check out the promo below and see what you think ...

Actually he looks like that in the pictures because the surgery is long and exhausting and Derek is puking because he has been doing the surgery for a long time. The surgery is so long that Lexie is wearing adult diapers. Read TV Guide article, there they explain why Derek looks freaked out and wouldn't say that he looks freaked out, he looks exhausted.
Anyway Derek being depress over the lost of a patient has being done before, it would be redundant to do it again. This story is about why Derek became a doctor and his conflict with the Chief.

OOps I meant: Listen to me.

If that is the case then why does he look so freaked out in the promo pic's? I might be wrong, but I think he loses the guy. He did this same thing when Jen died. I hope the chief will listen to Derrick and realize he made a mistake taking on the MW people and will get rid of everyone but Jackson. Like I said before I like him and wanna see him with Chris. And it seems that Chris and Hunt aren't really very close anymore. All I can say is YAYYYYYY. Maybe he can go somewhere and make a movie or to iraq and get the hell out of SGH for good. He really isn't needed. Jackson could be head of trauma. I need to go to abc.com and bitch about what I want to happen on this show they might listen to be if I bitch enough. LMAO!!!

Well I really believe that Derek saves this patient and the Chief regrets doubting Derek and I so want someone to put the Chief in his place. I think that what happened with Derek after Jen died is what making the Chief go against this surgery. The Chief doesn't want to lose his best surgeon again, like he did last season.
Now if Derek loses this patient I don't think he will react like he did last time. I time this time he is going to take refuge with Meredith, and Meredith is going to support him and encourage him.
Maybe the episode after this one we see Meredith and Derek at the house taking a break together, taking care of each other wouldn't that be awesome.
And I agree with you all the promo sucks, Derek doubted himself before, remember the twins in season 3 after the Burke fiasco came to light. He didn't think he could separate the twins, and the clinical trial, he doubted himself there too. So this promo makes me think that what is going to happen in the episode is th

I loved that scene at the trailer too. It was hilarious to see Callie like that. Owen didn't look that drunk (or made any type of reaction) but still, one of my favorite scenes of S5.
I really felt sorry for Derek at those episodes, especially on the fact that I sympathize on saying things that I really wish I could take back. Poor guy. Now, on the ring? I think it was THE thing that set me off to see that he really was drunk.
I really do believe he'll save this patient to redeem himself from Jen. I can't say Izzie was his redemption since her tumor was operable (true, only 20 doctors world wide could but still operable) and he'll get the upper hand.
With every episode that passes, I get more and more convinced he's SGH/MW salvation. Derek needs to be Chief, at least for some time, to get the hospital out of the hole that the Chief dug for it.
Guest cast for next episode is TBA. I like Jackson but I can't say I want him to be the Chief's lovechild. Doesn't seem like a grea

As much as I love Owen and Cristina together, I'm not sure they're gonna stay together very long. And, well, I think it would be interesting to see her get closer with Jackson. Interesting because they're both residents and we've never seen Critina with a man of her age, who is at the same point in his medical experience. I'd like to see Cristina in a simple and fresh relationship, to see her just enjoy it..

i hope this week their is more romance between the characters. it seems like this season nothing has really happen. we barely see meredith and derek together not at work. so thats what i hope this week just something romantic at least between owen and christina or mark and lexie

Oh and another thing. I didn't see but one MW person in the promo Dr. Jackson. And that is cool. I kinda like him. But just cause I"m in hopes that he takes Christina away from Hunt. LOL!!! I keep having these thoughts about the orange people. Sometime back there was talks about a young man being cast as the chief and Mer's mom's love child. Would it be cool if it was Jackson?

Well I hope not. He really pissed me off during that whole thing. He wasn't being very Mc Dreamy. I wanted to kick his ass when he batted the ring into the woods and called Mer a lemon. But I really liked the part where Owen and Callie went out to try and bring him back. Expectly Callie when the chief come up and she about fell off her chair. LOL!!! I love this show better than anything on tv and have for a long time. I hope it last for 10 yrs or longer. And we don't lose what makes the show great. I understand that we need new things to make the show more interesting. But I hope the writters don't lose focus of what made this the amazing show it has always been.
