Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Another Firing?!
Michael Ausiello of EW answers several Grey's Anatomy-related questions in his spoiler mailbag today, and the topics vary widely, from layoffs to MerDer to Burke.
Here's what he has to say about ...
Q: Is it at all possible that Shonda Rhimes would bring Isaiah Washington back to Grey’s Anatomy for even one episode now that T.R. Knight has left the show?
A: Listen to me very carefully, because I’m only going to say this once: Never. Gonna. Happen. But Washington kinda-sorta gets a shout-out in this week’s episode when Owen-lovin’ Cristina utters three shocking words: “I miss Burke.”
Q: Sounds like you’ve already seen this week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, so I’ve got a good Q: Any good Meredith-Derek scenes?
A: Nothing stands out on the Mer-Der front, but there’s a memorable Mer-Cristina-Alex scene at the end that will have you crying and laughing (and in that order).
Q: Any Grey’s Anatomy scoop?
A: You already know that someone gets fired in this week’s episode. But what you may not know is that someone gets fired next week, too!

I agree. I would rather watch the old people more than bring around all these new faces. The firing is stupid, because they are firing characters we were just starting to know... Like the intern couple who were having the baby? And to bring in all these obnoxious 12 year olds? Don't you think the new crew look really out of place?

I think with Bailey's cameo on Private Practice.. I think she will be the next one to go... They do need another doctor for the practice since Naomi left Oceanside..

Greys is changing. Its still heart pounding stuff, but its lost its soul or something... I couldn't wait to watch it. It was the first thing I made a point of watching BEFORE anything else. But its lost something. I watch it now when its convenient rather than I have too..., because I am really happy where Mer/Der are right now and Christina and Merediths relationship. I think if anything was to happen to these I would stop watching at a heart beat. Its not the No.1 programme for me anymore (Supernatural has grown into that status). I can understand that Shondra Rhimes needs to shake it up, but I hope she understands its lost its soul somewhere in the whole very dramatic storylines... Dead Denni anyone.... I rest my case. Its drama for drama's sake. I think the next person to be fired will be Lexie ! And I hope not. The best scene for the season so far, was Mer/Der, Owen, Christina, Lexie and Mark in the park batting. Excellent. Thats the heart and soul and I am missing it

I miss Burke so much, greys is changing, I still love it and will still watch it but bringing Burke back would be amazing! It would bring the show back to what it used to be, If greys had started out the way it is now I never would have started watching it, they need to make greys what it used to be.

If ONE more person leaves the show i won't watch it anymore, i won't buy the seasons anymore, Grey's Anatomy will be dead to me. I am SO ANGRY that they are trying to replace all the core characters to see if Grey's will continue to live on without them....i have a strong feeling about this. If they can't continue the story with Derek, Mer, Cristina, Izzie, etc. etc. THEN FINISH THE SHOW IN A GOOD WAY....DON'T HAVE MADE US WASTE 6 YEARS ONLY TO SEE EVERYONE FADE OUT! Season 5 wasn't all that great i have to say, and i was actually excited at the beginning of season 6...until i read that the bringing in of Mercy West residents was just to introduce new characters while slowly syncing out the old ones.
PLEASEEEE DON'T KILL THE SHOW THAT WAY!!!!!!
WHY DO YOU THINK ER DIED OUT...no one even knows about that show anymore....Grey's is the best show i've ever seen my whole life...if they crap out by doing this they will have killed 6 years of amazing Thursday nights for a whole lot of peop

I think it would make it very interesting if Burke came back. Christina misses him professionaly. She is not the same without being able to cut into hearts. :) I miss the old Christina.
Also, that was cold the way Izzie left Alex in the dark like that. He really loves her and he was just looking out for her. I don't think their marriage is going to last at all. In fact, I bet Kerev is going to sleep with someone while she is gone or the other way around. I don't like the new interns, but I can see great stories coming out of their characters and interaction with Seatle Grace doctors. Just don't break up Derek and Meredith. They deserve to be happy! And have a real wedding???? :)

I'm really angry att the M. West people, don't like them at all! And I don't like the chief for who he fired! Hope it makes more sense the next episode, mayby an mercy west that can leave? Not fair if it's two SGH in a row!

KiKi, I totally agree. I am also a Grey's/Private Practice fan and I think Sam is definitely going to at least make a few appearances on Grey's! Bailey even mentioned something at the end of Private Practice about how he used to be a cardio surgeon. I think Sam would be a great addition to the cast, and I don't really think he is doing much for Private Practice at the moment...his storyline kind of died out. Can't wait to see what happens!
P.S. I do not miss Burke, nor do I think he will EVER come back.

This is Grey's Anatomy, not "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP FICTIONAL SURGEON"!!! Episode 5 is disastrous; too many guest stars(or future recurrings?!?!) Only moment I felt like I was watching Grey's was when Cris burst into tears in Mer's room. BRING BACK BURKE AND TIE THE relationships BACK TOGETHER BEFORE THE SHOW BE REPLACED! and an actor's behaviour should not be the only factor affecting the development of the story. just saying.
