Q: You were right: I was crying during the final scene of last week’s Grey’s Anatomy. My heart broke for Alex. Please tell me you have some good news about him.
A: Alex does make contact with Izzie this week. That’s the good news. Here’s the bad: It doesn't look like she is coming out of hiding anytime soon.
Q: I’m a huge Kim Raver fan and I’m thrilled that she is joining the Grey’s Anatomy cast. Could you give us some scoop on her character?
A: She’s basically Cristina’s worst nightmare: a heart specialist who used to play doctor with Owen. That’s right, Owen’s ex is going to be Cristina’s (potential) mentor! Cue the dramaz!
Q: I have a feeling the Chief will get axed on Grey’s Anatomy.
A: A word of advice: You’d make a terrible psychic. The Chief is not the one who gets fired. BTW, unlike Izzie, the doc getting pink-slipped this week won’t be back.

Oh JO sorry I miss read your post. I see what your saying about the woman being as Addison and Derrick's ex. I thought you meant that Addison was a carido doc. Sorry!!!!

Because they need a new head of carido. I loved Brooke as the cardio god. She was so interesting to watch. Personally I wish when the new cardio doc comes, she takes Owen Hunt back with her:) I can't get the people I want fired. Fired off this show. LOL!!! I can't help it. But I don't like Hunt. I've not liked him since the first time he appeared on this show. He and Charles both need to go. LOL!!! Bringing Addison back would not take care of the carido doc problem. Since she is a baby doctor. But I too miss her on GA. She was better there. Those where the people I got used to see her with.

@ jo: Whoa! that's really true! i never thought about that until you said it... if they want to create another "addison" scenario, why can't they just bring her back? i miss her at seattle grace...

I hope that instead of them running from each other and just giving up, they'll be able to work through their problems and Meredith can be there for Derek. I think we're past the point where they both break up and don't even try and work through things.

Ok I liked Erica Hahn, there were two aspects of her character which contributed to the bigger picture of Grey's Anatomy: 1) she was the head of cardio 2) she was Callie's love interest.
It took me time to adjuct to arizona and I like her, so they replaced Callie's old blone lover with a new blonde lover okay.
But now they're adding a new cardio doctor who looks like a younger looking of Erica and who is also going to serve as a new "addison" figure where she's the woman from the man's past to make the female resident's love life more complicated.
I doubt that this character will bring something new or fresh...

The only person I can see getting the axe would be Bailey. She already is getting "emotional" about the way her students are making screw ups. Plus the guest apprearance on "Private Practice" makes an easy segue to have her on that show.

As delphincik already said, it's not gonna be one of sgh people. As long as one of the mercywesters gets fired it can't be wrong. But Christina deserves a nice boyfriend who supports her and she needs a teacher so much.

I am guessing it is APRIL... cuz she is not slated on the next episode.
