... whether the mystery characters turns out to be a daughter, sister, wife, ex-wife, cousin, etc- the bottom line is Mark will be 'guilty' (?) of the same misstep as Derek: lying by omission--
and there'll be fall-out-

I have a feeling like some others her that it would be, a daughter that he doesn’t know he had, and knowing Mark and his manwhoring days it is not rare that he got some one night stand or a long ago girlfriend pregnant when he was younger.. well he got Addison pregnant too, so it is really possible. His parents are crap and he doesn't have siblings, Only Derek’s family is his family. So I don’t think someone of his family that he doesn't talk to are coming and causing problems with Lexie?!! That doesn’t make any sense.

could be a daughter...if he is 38 or 40...and she is 18. Could be possible. And you don't have to be a man whore to get a girl pregnant....happens everyday.
The important thing is that he has changed, but I really hope it is not a daughter. Hopefully it is just an ex....i love lexie and mark!!

Is not his mother because his mother wouldn't cause problems between Mark and Lexie. It has to be his daughter, that would be interesting to seen how Lexie handles that. It would make them struggle but it would not end their relationship. Is absolutely possible for Mark to have and 18 year old daughter, he is like 40 or almost 40, he could've had her in his twenties.

I actually asked the question, so I'm glad they answered! I personally love Mark and Lexie, that's why I wanted to know. And I hope to goodness it's not a daughter. It's not impossible but with a daughter that age, I don't know, it wouldn't be the same. Mark having a daughter would change things drastically. I prefer to think that it might be a sister or half-sister, someone he never knew existed. So say...if he took her in and let her stay with he and Lexie...I could see how this could potentially cause problems. Just saying....

the girl who is playing her is 19 so that pretty much rules out her being his ex and in a previous episode , the tree girl episode, he said that he was an only child . I'm thinking its his daughter!

Well I'm leaning towards him having a daughter because isn't Mark an only child? This could get intresting. Remember when Derek paid that kid with no ears to go up to Mark and pretend it was his dad! LOL I LOVED that!
