Three Sneak Previews: "I Saw What I Saw"

The title of tomorrow night's Grey's Anatomy episode, "I Saw What I Saw," tells you a lot about what's going on, as the doctors all have their own account of an ER debacle.

This doesn't exactly help the brewing tension between the Mercy Westers and our Seattle Grace favorites. A little healthy competition is one thing, but this is out of control.

As the doctors fight to save their jobs and convince themselves they aren't to blame, one of the newcomers pushes Alex a little too far with a snide comment, and ...

Follow the jump for two more clips, in which Lexie and others are grilled by the chief, and Alex is dissed by two of his competitors. Watch, enjoy, and comment below ...

Witness statements are notoriously unreliable, everyone will be concentrating on what's important to them.
But the merger has brought chaos and poor management by the chief, and where is the chief resident to keep things a bit better organised. SGHMW will be ploughing into the lower rating of a teaching hospital. Will the chief relapse into drinking again?

A lot of people hate mercy westers. I've got news... there are a LOT of docs and docs in training who are like that. >.> As a pre-med I saw them all the time. It's in character. I suppose because I know "that kind of person," I relate to the show more. I like what they're doing, except with Alex and Izzie. Divorces and separation don't happen THAT often...

Of course the MW people will try and blame someone from SG...one of the MW people will get fired....hopefully the one who got Izzie in trouble or the girl that worked with Alex last week. Those two are weak....

    Looks good, though...can't wait!

ok.. if cristina gets the blame on this im gonna flip out.. and owen, he shd stick out for cristina. he's been disgarding her like she doesnt have feelings... she doesnt have someone apart from meredith.

OH HELL NO!!!! From the looks of one of the previews. Looks like Jackson is going to try and pin the death of there patient on Christina. Oh hell and I wanted them to get togehter and date or something. I hope she don't get fired or suspended. Although she might not care if she is fired cause she told the chief to go ahead and cut her. Cause that day all she got to do was remove a tick and pump a penis. I know this isn't funny. But the "pump a penis"...Cracks me up. LMAO!!!

I miss Meredith sooo much. I can deal with there not being a George or even Izzie, but I can't take how little screentime Mer has now. Ofcourse, can't be helped cos of the pregnancy thing. But just goes to show how important the title character is. Mer truly is the heart of the show, and without her, it feels so empty.

    Mari,

Exactly. I think that Derek is going to call out on the Chief's mistake on this one, in front of Jennings.

There is no real leadership at this time and even Derek, who showed some in 6.03 have been slacking off in that department lately. He has been advocating the doctor's rights for job security but the Chief isn't listening.

Like you said, this is the result of it and it's going to be interesting to see if the Chief can take that this is a failure of him and not so much of the residents and/or Attendings.

Derek defying the Chief's orders in 6.07 seem to be the beginning of him taking a bigger part of SGH/MW merger in a leader kind of way. He is the one to settle things down.

The problem isn’t the merger. Is the way it’s been done. The chief is absent, caged in his office. He addressed his people only to say “I hope you can maintain your jobs” meaning “each one for itself”. At the attendings meeting he didn’t say anything again. The silence foments gossip and increase panic. After that anyone who comes from outside is an invader. The people from SG feel discarded. The people from MW feel not needed. They can’t coexist in peace. They fight; they want to see the other makes mistakes. They forget what’s to be a doctor and care about the patient.

We didn’t see in the last episode the attendings worried about the residents. Since Bailey promotion there’s no chief resident. No one care about the residents disputes. Owen had all of them at the ER but didn’t look after any of them. Neither did Derek or Bailey. They had to focus on patient care, for sure, but fight between residents isn’t the best for patients.

    Tomorrow will see the

Owen's character has completly flipped and changed since episode 1/2. I mean, can you see the guy who sat with her through therapy and told her "i don't want to hurt you again" treating her like this?
