Blair: You say I always bet against you. Not this time. I'm all in.

In my opinion this was the best episode :>...at least for now
The plot was terrific, and Blair was insanely mean...even if she lied to Chuck.
That`s what makes her B, isn`t it?

Now I've got Chuck and Blair on the brain. I'm waiting anxiously for next week's episode to see what's going to happen to them. If that's the point of a tv episode, then this one worked.
Loved every Chuck and Blair scene. Loved the way he comforted her and was immediately alerted to "That's not a Hepburn movie". He totally gets Blair. :o) Was laughing out loud at the "kiss" scenes. Blair, Chuck and Mr. E were hilarious. Still grinning here.
Loved the intensity between the two of them at the end. The same dramatic intensity that so caught our attention and imaginations in the past. Wish nest week is here already.
Liked the scene where B and V sat down together. Hope they get to know each other better. Both have "over-bearing" / dominant mother issues. Maybe they can relate.
Love the witty dialogue, as usual. I can watch old episodes several times and still be entertained by what's said. Bravo writers.

I seriously think this was the best episode this season so far.

well i have to say that the chapter was disapointing, first the infamous kiss gay of chuck was blah! nothing, a lot of drama about that and is was just ... ugh whatever.
blair and her drama about always want to win, the same, nothing new, just that this time she hurt chuck.
nate/serena/carter I expected more, only the final between Serena and Carter I liked.
Vanessa is surprising me this season her character is interesting.
Dan/olivia this two are funny for now.

I totally agree with everyone who thinks that the chick blair relationship is getting LAME. I love these two, and their scenes this season have been cute. But Chuck and Blair are not supposed to be cute. They are hot, steamy, conniving, sexy, backstabbing 18 year olds. Chuck is acting even older than his dad was. Agree with the comment about Blair just being babysat by Chuck. This is exactly why chuck didnt want to officialy date blair in the first place, and its horrible to watch these characters go down that road because they could have had AMAZING story lines. And did anyone else think the whole poker scheme was useless. I mean come on. The explanation Nate had for doing it was LAME. Why couldnt the Vanderbilt cmap just send the picture anonymously to the Buckleys. I get that there wouldn't have been drama, but feel like I prefer no drama to these lame ass plotlines. I feel like the writers have these major dramatic plots, but they just dont execute them properly. Like they know th

What do we want from a great TV show?
Writers: Who put passion, intrigue, excitment and tension into the storylines.
Actors: Who CAN act; Who LOVE to act; and Who LOVE acting together.
Production Values: High - Clothes (hair & makeup), sets and location.
Characters: We can CARE about. Laugh, cry, love & hate with. Well rounded and defined.
Themes: Love, sex, marriage etc.
Is GG delivering?
7 out of 10 so far for me. Writers/ producers and actors don't forget the basics. Give us what we want then you can toy with us. We are willing for you to succeed, so don't let us down. Make GG as great as it potentially can be.

i really liked this episode and have been enjoying season 3. i think they are focusing more on longer term storylines that unfold over episodes with twists and turns as opposed to one omfg moment after the other. my one complaint is how they kicked carter tot he curb. i feel like that was a cop out. if he was just a tool to bring serena and nate together i will be pissed because carter is an AWESOME character and i want more!! he is also my favorite match for serena.
on the vanessa thing: i am not a huge fan of her character. mainly because she is as judgmental as dan and as ruthless and selfish as blair which is a bad combo. couple that with the fact that she is supposed to be nice and genuine and you have a total hypocrite. that said i think she is a great foil for blair and you need some people to be enemies in this show.
i know a lot of people have a problem with her because they feel she never gets her comeuppance, unlike blair, but i think its more that we don't rea

I totally agree with D&S forever. First, because I want D&S to be forever haha and second, because your post is pointing out great points. I hate that Dan and Serena broke up and I actually cried when it ended that way (the acting was great) but that is what made it so exciting because things you don't expect to happen or don't want to happen DO happen. It's like real life even though it is a TV show. If it's too unrealistic then many people wouldn't be able to relate to characters and their emotions/controversies.
Couples fight and I'm actually upset the controversy wasn't a little bigger. I mean she lied which sucks but this show has seen crazier things. I mean if they broke up because of that then they aren't meant to be. I loved Blair and Chuck so much more when they were on the verge of getting together than now that they are together. They are lacking passion, excitement, and the heat. I mean just compare it to last season. Now that they are together, we have no sexy sc

I understand that Chair fans are upset with the way that this episode ended, but it is very upsetting to judge an episode upon that. If Chuck and Blair were simply happy together all the time, as many of you repeatedly wish, you would most likely tire of them. Dan and Serena were basiclly happy and without HUGE issues for a majority of season one- sure, they had little fights and she held back, but they were mostly cutesy and happy. And MANY, MANY fans claim that they are "boring" and are pretty indifferent about a reunion between the two.
Now, I am NOT saying you have to love an episode in which your favorite couple is unhappy, but we Gossip Girl fans should love episodes for the writing, drama, and other character developments. Silly as it may seem, I was [and still kind of am] a huge Nair fan. Yes, I loved 'Hi, Society' and 'Remains of the J' simply because they had good scenes together, but I did not hate the season two finale or 'Victor Victrola' simply because I di
