First Promo For "New History"
Below is the first promo for next Thursday's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy, "New History." Kim Raver makes her first appearance as Seattle Grace's new "cardio god."
Somehow, we don't expect Cristina to be thrilled to see Owen's fellow Iraq vet.
Also, Izzie returns from her leave of absence ... or wherever it was she went.
We imagine that subject will be addressed pretty soon by Alex. Oh, and if what Meredith asks her here is actually true, Izzie's got some big news to share with him, too ...

i have to agree with Leonie1988, where has the clinic gone? It seems to be storyless, maybe cos MAC are 3rd year residents?

Maybe they feel the need to have a new "dark and twisty" person, since Mer is all bright and shiny right now? Cuz Izzie looks really dark and twisty in that scene!
Question, would it be possible for Callie to be preggers (w/ George's baby)? Or did that happen too long ago? I have the timelines all confused!

@stewart444, omg, you are so RIGHT! i agree with everything you said.. she dind't even tell him she had a daughter Oo that's true..she only told george, whom she trusted the most..
oh and izzie blackmailing the chief makes me even more frightened than the expression on her face when she talks to alex.. you can get ARRESTED for blackmailing people!

Where is the clinic gone by the way? Wasn't Izzie in charge of it? And didn't she pay for it? I think it really wasn't right from the chief to fire her, mistake from her or not.
and please people, stop confusing Katherine Heigl and Izzie Stevens! They are not the same person! KH doesn't write the episodes! KH might have said one or two bad things about Ga, but I am sure many of the actors did that already, but the media is only interested in her opinion, because she (and Dempsey) are the most famous ones outside of GA.
I think we will be very surprised about where she really was. Something nobody expected.

I will be majorly upset if Izzie and Alex break up. After last seasons storyline they can't. Alex has grown up so much because of his marriage and responsibility, and Izzie herself even said that she saw only Alex in her future. She was over Denny. And there wedding indicated that they were to be a PERMENANT couple- there was genuine commitment there. If Shonda breaks them up, then things will never be the same. Alex and Izzie belong together. period. if they divorce i will stop watching the show, not even joking. Addison left. George is gone. Lexie is gettng way too much screen time. The Chiefs a dick. If Izzie/Alex don't survive, the show will be pointless.

Cannot wait until next week! This preview is out-breathing!
Most probably nobody is pregnant and it is just to make us think Izzie is bearing Alex's child... This, just after the episode in which Alex shows us, once again, that he has this perfect touch with newborns!
Personnally, I would love that Izzie and Alex become parents!
I like Alex's caracter, the love and the attention he pays to Izzie, to me, this baby would be an accomplishment!
I think they have frozen Izzie's eggs in the previous season, just in case the IL2 would prevent her from having baby. But I do not think that she must be sterile beacuse of her treatment, that is just an eventuality.
And of course, the pregnancy would explain why she had not come at her last appointment to be treated, just to protect her baby!
I hope you will apologise my really bad English (I am writing from France), but I really, really hope that Izzie and Alex will have a baby soon!

I agree with Jelly, the promo is a total Shonda tease. The "you're pregnant" remark I don't even think is directed at Izzie, it's just made to look that way. Could it be Cristina, or Lexie?? Much more likely - Izzie & Alex barely consummated their marriage - remember when Derek kicked then out to live in the trailer.
Anyway, I too didn't miss Izzie/KH at all. Still wish she was the one that had bit the dust in last season's finale.
We'll see what Shonda has up her sleeve. Looking forward to some MerDer love though - cute kissing in the OR.

I really can't wait for this episode. Izzie is one of my favorite characters and well I am an A/I fan but I must agree that Izzie is being a BITCH (I don't know KH so I can't place judgement on her as a person and I don't like how the media portrays actors) I do see her point of view and I get that after all that's happened (cancer,her BFF dying,getting fired and everything in her past) she has a right to be angry BUT she should have not taken off and leave her husband who has been by her side through this fight w/cancer,who can't live w/o her,who married her (which I don't think in his eyes was because of her dying it was just something to speed it up but her eyes i'm not sure @ all) and to just leave a note is juvenile.
The "Is that what you think?" by Alex must be him thinking that she loves her career more than she loves him (or blind anger @ the moment which I HOPE that's what it is)and I really hope alex doesn't take her back right away its just too unrealistic BUT I do want t

It's really funny how some people freaking out because of 30 seconds promo which was made only to fool us in a first place. I'm excided about Izzie showing up unexpectedly. Because we didn't have the chance to know her point of view. Until know it was all about her without her. And I want her to fight, maybe play dirty because that's interesting. She should kick some ass as Cristina always do. I don't understand what you have against it. It might be fun..Izzie as a goddess of revenge
