Gossip Girl Forum: "They Shoot Humphreys, Don't They?"

Jenny Humphrey is never satisfied. She may be queen of Constance, but tonight she sets her sights on something bigger. Queen of the entire Upper East Side.

Can she pull it off? This should be very interesting to watch unfold. Also intriguing? The little matter of the even racier than expected Gossip Girl threesome!

Who gets it on? Who doesn't? Are you excited to watch or are they pushing it too far? We'll find out soon enough in "They Shoot Humphreys, Don't They?"

We've seen some previews and promos, browsed through a photo gallery and read plenty of spoilers. All that's left for us to do is watch and discuss!

Unquestionably the best episode of Season 3 (for me, a tie with S3E2: The Freshmen). The cotillion glamor, sweet Chuck & Blair scenes, funny one-liners, and grade A Mean Girl scheming made it feel like the Gossip Girl I know and love.

Blair and Jenny's outfits were so beautiful.

I liked that they played Leighton's new song.

The 3some was stupid, but I am glad it was so quick, and only involved characters I do not care about anyway. The geeks were really funny as they followed these 3 characters around throughout the episode; it made it almost bearable to watch their scenes.

LOVED Serena & Tripp :) Serena may get herself in trouble with this, but it probably will be worth it.

maybe in this one vanessa becomes a lesbian and leaves all the chucks and nates of the world alone
Yess..the salvation of mankind is finally happening.

I don't mind the Serena/Tripp plot. What I mind is that it feels incredibly forced to say she's always had some big crush on him. Baloney! I think Serena is a borderline personality. She can charm anyone, but has no concept of who she is. She adapts herself immediately to any guy who wanders by expressing an interest, but never really seems to love them and then it all falls apart. Boom, three days later she's onto the next one. Have you ever really felt like she had a broken heart? Even with Dan? I never did. She's like a cipher, empty inside somehow.

Anyway, back to Tripp: it's typical Serena to be attracted to the most destructive, dangerous relationship she can find. It will also work, because we know that Tripp's wife is Wicked. So Serena can be both wanna-be adulteress and potential heroine saving Tripp from his lying spouse. Yes, give it an eyeroll here, but it "works" as drama. Nate will obviously get drawn into this one too, so maybe the end result is the Nate/Serena pairin

The text said something like :

"Movie not happening. The director backed out again! Call me asap! KC"
