Grey's Anatomy Episode Guide: "Invest in Love"
Last night was all about children in distress. Very different kinds of distress.
Whether it was Alex giving a prematurely-born infant skin-on-skin contact to help it survive just another minute, or Cristina and Jackson going rogue in the O.R., limits where pushed.
Sadly, for Arizona, she was unable to save the life of a patient she cared for deeply. But if there was any silver lining to be found, perhaps someone finally got through to the Chief.
Jessica Capshaw in particular was brilliant last night, proving that hospitals are not just about dollars and cents, but a sense of compassion. Another terrific performance by the cast.

Lexie: Mark, I'm dying. Please tell Meredith I love her and that she is a good sister.

I LOVED IT!!! Everything - just LOVED it! This show and everyone in it just has a way of making me fall in love with the characters and care for them so much that its nuts! and with that, this episode has solidified my love and adoration for Arizona. Props to Jessica Capshaw for bringing Arizona's character to life. Amazing job guys!

Arizona was amazing in this episode. And Callie and Arizona, I would have never thought that they can create such a great relationship.

I don't know about you guys. I watch Grey's Anatomy starting from season 3 but then I went back and watch season 1 & 2 and follow all that was happen. It always spark my interest but there wasn't an exact reason, I think I find MerDek relationship was interesting but then it got annoying because of Meredith unable to make up her mind if she wanted to be with Derek or not. Now as season 5 came into place they got mature ... all the characters grew onto me. I love the new addition, Dr. Robbbins ... she add more cheerfulness and she just so perfect for Callie. After this episode I love her character more and hope they stay together. I find 'em to be one of the most cutest couple in GA. My reason for continuing to be a loyal fan is truly because of Callie-Arizona!!! I'm more looking forward to watching every episode to see how their relationship will go further down the road. Anyways, Jessica Capshaw did an excellent job, she totally rocks!!! I think Jackson is a total hottie =) hehe Y

Like others, I loved Jessica's performance last night, she is just brilliant as a Peds surgeon. She totally made up for some other things that really bugged me about last night's episode. Firstly, why is Richard still Chief? Really, why? I know Grey's does not reflect real life but seriously, even in make believe life, he should have been replaced. The other things that bugged me about last night's episode are why would the hospital bill Izzie or rather Alex for her treatment? Wasn't it Izzie who donated multi-millions to the hospital for the Clinic, as if they would treat her on a pro-bono if not as a staff member but as a large sponsor. Finally, the last thing that bugged me is that the writers are already trying to pair Alex off. We all know that Katherine wants out of her studio contract so she can concentrate on movies but seriously, it is totally weird that only weeks ago he was declaring true love to already shipping him off with a new doctor... Sorry for the semi rant b

I really liked this episode. Nice to see Arizona Robbins in the centre for once. I never really felt her character, until now, when I realize that she's a great addition to the show.
Not enough MerDer and Mexie last night. Oh well.
I don't like Owen. IMO, he's too dominating with Cristina.
I wish the boy didn't die. :( I can understand why Arizona broke down in the end. But she put on a strong face in front of the boy's parents, which is good.
I can't wait for next week- based on the promos it's gonna be GOOD!

@ Nina- nah, wasn't Camilla Belle. Strong resemblance, though!
I'm also in the minority here- the very tiny minority. I dunno if there's some new writers, or what, but I'm not feeling the past couple of episodes. It's not the Grey's we know and love, integrating the interesting medical cases with the enthralling, relatable personal drama. It's beginning to foucs primarily on the medicine, which begins to lose my interest after a while, even though I'm a diehard, loyal fan.
I also abhor Arizona's character. I think she's weak and overly emotional for her career. Everyone always sees when she stands up to the Chief or for her patients, but afterwards, she breaks down. Every time. She's too insecure and too needy, and I just want to slap her in her face every time she talks. No offense to her fans.
I just really want the show to go back to how it used to be. I also hate Izzy this season. I kind of always have, since she's so indecisive and flaky. And that little bit where she WAN

This was the most profoundly moving episode I've ever seen on Grey's. Beats Izzy, MerDer, the whole shebang. If we all had doctors as understanding, as compassionate, yet as talented as Arizona, we'd all be better off.

On a scale from 1-100 I give this eppy 150 it was just awsome. I didn't even mind seeing stupid Charles. I love AZ and Callie even more after last night. They are building such a great relationship. And I finally got what I wanted the I love you's and another kiss. That was so sweet. Alex was just great this eppy. When it comes to the kids he is so good with them. Izzy should have her ass kicked for leaving him. He should just move on with Reed. The Jackson and Chris kiss was hot. I hope that makes her start thinking about dumping Hunt. He treats her bad any way. He don't see her or know her and he isn't trying to understand her. Oh man...Jenning's and the chief are so getting on my nerves. I'm beginning to hope that Derrick takes his job. He is being and ass. Love Love Love the way AZ keeps smacking him down. LOL!!! And he just lets her. Because he knows she is right. And too loved the way she told him to get out of her OR and she didn't cry. LOL!!! OK!!!! I'm like everyone else now.
