Leighton Meester Teams Up with Weezer
Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester is also an aspiring singer, as we know.
To that end, the good girl gone bad joined Weezer on stage during their Halloween concert at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Halloween Night Saturday.
Leighton helped Rivers Cuomo sing Weezer’s new single “(If You’re Wondering if I Want You To) I Want You To.” Nat Wolff of the Naked Brothers Band also joined!

She was alright, she's not the most amazing singer but she seams to really enjoy it so thats good.

This is truly awful, but I don't think that is Leighton's fault - sure, she was a bit off key at first, but the pitch is way too low for her voice. I like 'Good Girls Go Bad', but not really any of her other songs, though I support her singing career to the fullest.

I was at Weezer's concert when Leighton Meester was introduced as a guest vocalist on their new song at the Hammerstein Ballroom. She was excited and they both seemed to be enjoying singing the song together. Being a huge Weezer and Gossip Girl fan, I was thrilled and everyone was dancing along.
This youtube video REALLY doesn't give her voice any justice and it was a lot better live. Also, their mics were having issues all concert long (I heard other issues on other Weezer songs).
I am just one of the many Weezer fans who were pleasantly surprised to get a great performance from Leighton Meester.

what is everybody talking about? this recording is crap. you can hardly hear the singing voice to even judge the singer. leighton has a decent voice. not great but def. better than many many crappy ones in the music business. but we dont actually know how good her voice really is because even for her own songs she or someone for her chooses to not explore musical ideas that show off her vocal abilities. many singers don't find the best direction for their voice. thats a shame. this weezer performance means nothing no matter how you look at it.
