wow, somebody said Chuck staying with Nate instead of flying to Paris with Blair indicate missing passion in their r'ship. Chuck has grown a lot this season and him staying with Nate is a sensible decision and does not in ANY way indicate Chair lack or absence of passion. But i do agree with ppl saying that Chair is getting boring, not because of the lack of chemistry but they just don't have a story YET, with Serena sneaking around with a married congressman, who can top that? Remember, this season is ALL about SERENA, oh, it's also a season to make Vanessa MATTER, to PUSH Jenny as a stronger main character and REDEFINE Dan. So yeah, CHAIR hotness will have to wait. They have lots of character to put forward this time around. Quit bitching alright?
Even though I love the name Stripp - god Serena is a hobag! How could you turn down Man Bangs?? Two of the dumbest beautiful people in the history of TV get together, but they're too dumb to get together (well Serena is too dumb, Nate actually ended up outsmarted her - to be honest... it's not hard).
CHAIR - show some more hot Chair scenes, good Chuck is starting to get a little boring...

i don't know why so many people like this epi. all the scenes are rushed through . every 5 seconds i see a different scene I get headache.. i know there are drama brewing, but writers, pls give more time to develop them. and you're trying to squeeze tooooo much into one epi.
the writers also have turned Chair into the biggest anti-climate. what a waste after all the built up in S1 & S2. it's unreal that they now act like married couples of 20 years.

At first, Serena pissed me off but then i realized that it's good that she made horrible decision .. she seem to messed up this season, everything she touched turn out to be bad so she need a lesson to bring her down to the ground again .. and i don't think that they will last if serena decide to go with nate .. They need drama to help their feeling stronger just like Blair and Chuck (at least that's what i think)
and I know that what serena did to nate is awful .. a lot of people think that now serena is not deserve nate .. i know that nate said such a sweetest thing to serena but i just wondering why now ?!? Is that because of Nate is lonely?!? they were on a fight and not spoken to each other before his feeling start again .. people said that serena is always jump from guy to guy .. didn't nate do the same?!? .. i think he did .. and now just that serena is having a guy maybe that's why she didn't jump to nate?!? at le

I loved the touch of "Watcha Say" during the Thanksgiving dinner. Best Gossip Girl song placement, especially with all that drama!

OMFG LEAVE IT FOR GOOD!
THIS EPISODE JUST FELT LIKE A STUPID SOAP WITH ALL THE SOAPY DRAMA AND TWISTED PLOTS!
Sure I want some action on GG and hot couples and twisted affaires and I even liked Serena and Tripp but this is too fast and too far yet..she just met him like what 3 Episodes ago talked to him and now he's THE ONE? COME ON! And what's going on with Lilly and Rufus and Serenas mysterios father Keith?! But the most surprise for me in this episode was that I finally noticed I'm not interested anymore..leave it foor good before you ruin everything..Chair is effing boring, Serena is playing with the feelings of two men..Lilly is keeping a big secret blablabla..hope the next gets better!
I think it's really funny that people are arguing that Chuck and Blair have the best chemistry. Let's face it...they HAD the best chemistry previously. (minus dan and serena who truly, BY FAR had the best chemistry as you could tell they were in love). Chuck and Blair are freakin boring now. I'm sorry, but people keep asking for more Chair, but what for? If they continue to be boring with no fire or passion, i'd rather their scene time together be cut out. I loved the episodes leading up to their pairing and was so glad they got together. But ever since then, it's been downhill with this couple as far as Gossip Girl goes. No drama, no nothing really.
Pros:
---absolutely love the music scene during the Thanksgiving dinner. I thought the song was perfect and drama just unfolded very nicely.
---dan acting awkward towards vanessa and the whole "new face" thing. really shows he might be into her (despite the feeling just rekindling from the threesome out of nowhere)

I LOVED BOTH JENNY AND ERIC THIS EPISODE,AND WHERE THE FUCK IS CHAIR PLEASE AND IM SOOOOOO OVER NATE AND SERENA THERES NOTHING THERE FOR ME ANYMORE AND I ACTUALLY LIKE HIM BETTER WITH JENNY ,I'LL FAST FOWARD THROUGH THEIR MOMENTS AND UNTIL WE GET MORE CHAIR,IM ROOTING FOR CB,DS AND NJ THATS WHO WORKS FOR ME DON'T CARE FOR V SO WHATEVER AND EJ CAN'T FORGET THE BOYS NOW THEY BELONG TOGETHER .

I have to say this is probably the best episode this season so far.
The entire "dining table" sequence where everyone was hashing out their problems was the best scene.

I love this episode despite the fact that there's almost no Chair scene at all (seriously writers, if you ever run out of ideas for Chair scenes you can always turn to me, cos I got plenty!!!)
Chair aside, I just love the thxgiving atmosphere where they are having dinner together...really love the togetherness, though I still think V and her mom should be banished from the table
and Dorota is the highlight of this episode....how cuteeeee!!!!!!!!!

I'm not defending Serena for her actions, but why is everyone saying that she doesn't deserve Nate? Wasn't Nate involved with a married woman also (remember he had to jump out of the window when the Baron came home)? Didn't Nate cheat on his then gf (Blair) when with Serena?
Didn't Bree use Nate in order to seek Carter for revenge?
And need I remind everyone of Chuck's bad boy behavior before this season?
All the characters have done dishonorable things; people just seem to like to focus on Serena for some reason.
I think Serena and Nate totally deserve each other. They need to bring the bad side out of Chuck again. Tripp as the "bad guy" doesn't cut it.
I know everyone loves Chuck and Blair (so do I), but have you ever noticed that fairy tales always END with "happily ever after"? As in, there is no sequel to a fairy tale after happily ever after? LOVE NS (: I think this is the best episode that has ever aired for this season, but what can i say season 3 is indeed full of nice surprises! Can't wait for NS to happen, with the writers building it all up nice&properly. But it's a pity there is a bit too little blair&chuck scene.
