I loved the NS tonight! These two are such an amazing couple! Even more, I loved Nate. His little speech to Serena at the limo made me want to cry. That said, Serena is a hard one to sympathize with right now. I love her, but she's annoying me so much because she's being so naive.
I loved the DB! Could have had more CB. We need more CB definitely. Haha NSCBDV forever.
Amazing episode overall.

I just need to sound off here, but before I do let me just say one thing "Whatcha Say" at Thanksgiving dinner? SERIOUSLY? First, down goes the writing of Gossip Girl and now the MUSIC? What's next?! I mean, I don't personally have a problem with the song, I like it when I hear it on the radio, but Gossip Girl has always been about showcasing UNKNOWNS. The soundtrack is always great. It was just so out of place and ridiculous. As my friend Kelsi attested, they could have at least used the original "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap that that song was so obviously stolen from.
End mini music rant.
The scheming was definitely back this episode, from everyone, which I liked. CeCe, who was kind of a character I despised because of the way she meddled in everything with Serena and Dan (like Vanessa, dear God KILL HER or something!)...but yet, liked, at the same time, for being the saucy grandma she is, gave Rufus the "Thanks for inviting me" line and look that just said she was loving ever

I really like Serena, I just think she's being dumb right now. I can't wait for her and Nate to get together, but even with his almost-confession I knew she'd get in the car with Tripp no matter what. Ahh, all in good time. I don't like Maureen, but I can sympathize with her too.
I really want Dan and Vanessa to have something happen :] and can't wait for the Jenny Vs. Eric either... it's going to be good.

i feel so bad for nate... serena keeps breaking his heart and i keep thinking one day he's not gonna be there, but obviously he is. so once again serena will get her way. i was screaming at her for the entire episode because getting with tripp is the worst idea ever. if i were her, i would have gotten with nate and stayed there from the beginning, but then it just wouldn't be gossip girl...

Gossip Girl is back on track...it's about freakin' time.
Serena & Nate must be stronger in order to be the new Chuck & Blair. The chemistry is just not there.

I did the same thing, andrea! I can't lie! I screamed when i figured out Dorota was the pregnant one! And i don't know if it was just me being slow but i didnt even see that coming!
And i'm just gonna repeat pretty much what everyone else is saying: Serena is a bitch for leaving Nate behind and running off with Tripp whom I actually liked until his "relationship" started w/ Serena. Dan and Vanessa is something that we all knew was gonna happen eventually but i gotta agree w/chris. why is everyone telling Dan how he feels and what to do? I mean I know he's kind of a pushover but please let him do his own thing! The queen Jenny thing annoys me. Actually if I think about it, the whole character of Jenny annoys me! How is she helping the show? She's being horrible to the one person who is nice to her, Eric! and now she's making him change and be a jerk too which i hate! Send Jenny to boarding school!!

I just saw the trailer and I'm reading about the speculation about Tripp dying in the car accident... but if you watch the trailer Nate punches what looks like Tripp in front of the hospital (or rather, in front of the ambulance). Possibly for hurting Serena.

Not that I'm justifying or glorifying Serena's choice to go with Tripp, but there's a lot of pressure there she's being guilted into. She's being asked to choose between a boy who, to the best of her knowledge, only likes her and a man who is leaving his wife, throwing away his career as a CONGRESSMAN, and is risking a monumental scandal that will ruin his social, personal, and career life forever - to be with her. It's no longer a matter of who she wants to be with more. Instead, it's a situation of who needs her more; and in her viewpoint, the clear answer is Tripp.
That being said, a lot of of people are being hypocritical. You whine and complain that Gossip Girl no longer has that 'OMG' factor; that their scandals are not all that scandalous anymore; that they no longer 'go there'. Now that you'e gotten it (Serena entering into an affair with a married man - imagine how widely covered this huge political scandal might be) you bitch about how much o
this episode was the bomb-diggity.....end of story. what's going to be even MORE bomb-diggity? NEXT week's ep. Methinks gossip girl is getting better and better each episode. :)

Since when have Blair and Chuck been the advice givers instead of the advice getters? Why must the writers torture us with lame lukewarm subplots for them when they are so much better suited for big time drama and romance??? What has happened to Gossip Girl?? In the first season the romances took a long span of episodes to develop and so did the plot lines. There is absolutely no build up this season and buildup is what makes the show so gripping to watch. And so far all of the plot resolutions have been fairly anticlimactic. This is all very disappointing but I'm hoping this next episode will prove me wrong.

From the spoilers and stuff, we know that Nate and Serena are going to end up together sometime this season so hopefully Nate will cheer up in the near future :) So who knows what exactly happens with Tripp. Next week looks really good!!!

Nate is awesome. Serena does not deserve him but i stil think they are so cute together. Whenever they have a scene together i put a little heart around their heads :)

I loved the episode because of how all the characters were brought together... something that doesn't happen quite a lot.
But to me, this episode and the preview seemed... different... and it's kind of bothering me. It's like One Tree Hill style with Serena in an auto accident with blood on her head. It's just, no, it's happened so much and I think they could be more creative and think of something else. From the writers perspective though, I do think Serena needed to choose Tripp over Nate, so she can learn from her mistakes. Hopefully she'll come back after this stupid accident she gets into with Tripp and does something valuable with her life. I liked it when she was working as a publicist! Now she has no goals in life.
Chuck and Blair= solid. Love them together, always interesting.
Derota pregnant was just about the cutest thing at the end with the Gossip Girl voiceover. I loved how in an episode so dramatic this was going on.
And also I do like Dan and Vanessa

I hate the fact that there were pretty much no CB scenes..not even one. But I'm hoping for next episode. Besides that, THIS WAS FREAKING AMAZING. Breaks my heart that Nate told Serena how he felt again and she left with damn Tripp!!! OMG! Came here Natie I shall console you!!! GREAT episode. Tons of OMG moments just like GG should be. Just more CB dammit!
