2010 Grey's Anatomy-Private Practice Crossover: First Promo
As most of you probably of know, the first episode when Grey's Anatomy returns in 2010 will be part of a crossover with Private Practice. The first promo for the two-hour event aired after last night's (also two-hour) Private Practice, and we've posted it below:
Mark and his daughter, who was introduced to us last week in "Holidaze," look to be at the center of the action, as does his former lover Addison. It should be a dramatic episode.
What are your predictions? Thoughts? Hopes?

Well like I said I felt sorry for Izzy until she walked out on Alex now I don't. He is a good man that has been through the wringer. I hope he divorces her and gets involved with Reed. I so hope they don't bring back Ava. That would just hurt him more. He deserves a break.

i love crossover, in fact there's peter too in SGH, :), i love izzie (even she's sucks), i love izie w/ alex. can't wait 4 this episode coz mark sloan gonna be sexy grandpa :p

Alex done nothing to her but support her and love her. I feel for the man he has been through all kinds of crap. When he started to love again and trust she walks off and leaves him. I've not liked Izzy for a long time. Ever since the whole having sex with a married man. But I was beginning to get over that and feel sorry for her until she pulled the leaving thing. Now I think she is being a selfish bitch. I know she adopted a kid. Blah Blah Blah!!!! That is why she took time off work. But Ellen freakin had a baby and didn't miss one episode. I think Jessica Capshaw said it best. Ellen is a trooper. She had a baby and went right back to work.

i dont think you guys are understanding that izzie isn't really izzie anymore. first off, marrying on a -soon to be dead status- isn't always the right thing. she was hallucinating her ex fiance the whole time she was in a relationship with alex for god sakes! so i wasnt surprised to see conflicts ahead for this marriage. anyways, the girl had been through HELL the last two years, helping her bestfriend cheat on his wife by accident, her daughter visiting with cancer, hallucinating her dead fiance and falling in love all over again with him, getting cancer, george dying, and then losing her job- which she was under the impression alex had ultimatly caused it. major things, life alternating has happened to her, and she is taking it out on alex, because it would have been something he had done in the past. i dont have any sides here, im just saying that they OBVIOUSLY rushed into this marriage.

I hope Alex does cheat. He was there for her the whole time she went through cancer and then she just walks away. I know she thinks he talked to the chief and made her lose her job. But when you love someone you talk to them and not just leave them. He was heart broke and kept trying to call her to see if she was ok. I hope his one night stand it Reed. I like her and she seems to really be into him. If he does cheat I hope it gets back to Callie. I think that would make her feel better the bitch that broke up her marriage got cheated on. LOL!!! Maybe maybe not!!! But it would make me feel better. LOL!!!

I get what you are saying completely. I like the idea of how Alex's ONS is similar to Izzie's ONS with George (*shudder*) and is going to bite her in the a--. I totally agree with Alex's role in the marriage he's been the adult and Izzie's been the kid being watched over (I'm not hating her just yet because I see what lead her to leave:cancer,George dying and losing her job but I still don't think it was right for her to do so, it showed a childish side of her that I never want to see again but I think we will see) I do not like this SL @ all and I wish it would end soon but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon there has to be drama
Haha the title is soo hilarious- of course Izzie's gonna know he had a ONS + he doesn't even have to tell her rumors fly in SGMW really fast but yeah let's wait and see

You know my not-love for Izzie but seeing where Alex comes from and based on what JC said in the interview, in some twisted way, I was hoping he would.
You are absolutely right about S2 Oliviagate but the cards are different here. Alex has been the adult in terms of this marriage while Izzie isn't.
The fact that he is too drunk to reason and have a ONS may bite Izzie in the @ss, since she did the same thing with George. That is, if he tells her (which I assume he will).
I guess it's a wait and see. Ep 6.12 is supposed to be titled "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked", and it's supposed to be the epi where KH comes back.

To side with Alex on the one night stand to me would not make sense because it would show that he hasn't grown and developed as a character. I mean Izzie was no saint here (for god's sake she left him) but to bring him back to the point he was for s2-s3 would not be right.
