Ed and Leighton are incredibal actors. I looove blake, she is a great actress, but ed and leighton are better, a lot bettter. Chace is improving, i can finally see that he is acting and not reading lines, but when it comes to the best male actor ont the show: ed, best female: leighton.

Ed was amazingg! BUt in the hospital scene, I actually liked Leighton better. I know this sounds really shallow but whenever the camera panned to Blair, Chuck had this weirdd, smile kinda thing on his face...

I totally agree on the fact that Ed should get an Emmy. His acting is by far the best among all the other cast. Especially in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" And this episode too. I really don't understand why people like Blake or Chace. I mean their acting is....average. Though Chace's improving which is great. Finally. But I say Ed deserves Emmy the most. Divine. And the fact that he's using his american accent. Plus point. Ed and Leighton. Best actors in the show.

Nate fight for Blair. Serena is nothing comparing to her. Ed and Leighton are perfect together. They are amazing actors.

Gossip Girl's main cast; Ed, Leighton, Penn, Blake, Chace, Taylor, Matthew and Kelly are a dream team. They're all good actors. Really good.
Ed may have stood out in this episode because of the intensity of his performance, and he did a great job, but it was Leighton's expressions and subtle sensitivity that actually made me teary-eyed. First, while hugging Serena and then that unforgetable scene with Ed. It was Blair's comforting of Chuck that actually tugged at my heart-strings, and sympathise with Chuck. Ed finished it off beautifully when he kissed Blair's temple. Even when you watch in silence, that scene is moving and thrilling. Throughout the episode, they are equals.
I agree wholeheartedly that Leighton is consistently amazing episode after episode. "Leighton gets every colour of Blair" quoting Josh himself. She's great with every other character. But she's best with Ed. They're wonderful together.
I would vote for this episode, Best Dramatic Actor; Ed. Best

Leighton was perfect and amazing. Give the show for Leighton and Ed please. When they have the chance they stole all the show. Serena deserves to be pregnant and alone and Nate has to realize that the only woman for him is Blair. I love Chair.

I don't know how they even consider blake livelt good acting..at least her character is as stupid as she is so it fits perfecty! she doesn't even have to act!

1. I know I omitted a small portion but I love when B says to C: "Pretend like ya never get sad and all you care about is making money... But I know better." Great Chair moment. Ed does some great acting there when Chuck realizes that he WILL eventually have to deal with Bart's death.
2. Ed Westwick hands down. This is the first time we see real emotions from Chuck, which means Ed actually had to do some hardcore acting in this episode. He placed himself under tremendous pressure and stress all the while concealing his grief.

Given the material, I think Leighton won that one hands down.
She was beautiful in this scene with him at the hospital.
TBH I was bothered by Ed's heavy breathing, there are other ways to convey that you feel overwhelmed.
And TRIPP is the douche here. Maureen did it because she wanted to spare Rufus the pain she felt. She didn't cheat on her husband and took her lover to the countryside to spend quality time... SHe just took pity on Rufus...

Am I the only one who noticed that the scene where Nate and Serena talk in the hospital as the promo pics show wasn't actually in the episode? I just rewatched it and I still didn't see it.

OH PLEASE! Slow down? I like the girl, but I don't worship the ground she walks on.
And that was NOT bashing. Leighton's a good actress, I wound never say she wasn't but I think Ed's better. I was pointing out how GOOD HE IS not how "bad" SHE is.

- Nice outfit (just thought it was funny : she just had an accident but her sense of humour still there .. Welcome back!! Serena .. Don't go off the rail again)
2. Whose performance was your favorite last night: Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester, Blake Lively or Chace Crawford?
- Question is "whose your favorite" So, I have to say Chace Crawford (not best) but he improved a lot from season1, this is the first time i don't feel like chace is reading the line in front of camera and the way he punched tripp look real (cam angle helping a lot lol) and 'you get the hell away from her'
3. Will Rufus revenge-cheat on Lily?
- I don't think he is not that kind of person who will revenge-cheat on his wife .. He is way too good for Lily tho ..
4. You're-going-to-hell move of the night: Tripp leaving Serena in the car to save his reputation, or Maureen giving Rufus the letter out of pure spite?
