I think that would be great changes. But also, kill off Noah Bennet. He played out his part in season two, now he's just annoying. Does anyone agree that if you hear "I'm doing it to protect you/my family" one more time you're going to carv your ears off?
I would also love to see a more bitter and cynical Peter. We all know he has it in him. And now when his brother is dead, his mother has made the ultimate betrail, Claire's running of with some carnies and so on, why wouldn't he trun into something that can be close to what we've seen in every future vision of him?

Peter could also steal Baby Touch-n-Go's ability, turn off
Sylars ability and then he can kill him for good..
He's really not that important, and I thought he was losing
control over the forms that he absorbed, causing him to shift between bodies unintentioanlly..A side-effect from his abuse of power..This would've been a great demise for Sylar, destroyed by his own greed..
Future Peter could've took out the soul of slyar, leaving him Gabriel, and placing the soul of evil Sylar in a tooth brush

Also...
12.) The writers of Heroes should look to their peers and realize that there is a way to make a serialized series that also has individual plots in each episode. Allow a majority of episodes to have a main plot with a beginning, a middle, and an end. Look to X-Files, Smallville, and just about any other long running serialized series other than Lost (which manages to ramble on in free form effectively, unlike Heroes,) for ways to arrange the long term plot with individual episode plots.
13.) I'd like to agree with you on the "team" idea, but... That didn't work out so hot in Volume 3...
Derek
December 6th, 2009 1:15 AM
1.) Have an extended, long term plot figured out, and work toward a decided conclusion. This includes one for each season, and the entire show itself. Give people a reason to want to see this show all the way through. Focus focus focus.
2.) Heroes has various different writers working on different characters and arcs. While this worked with season 1 and 2, it clearly has been creating some real inconsistency for the past two years. Fire the writers who have been screwing the show up and bring in some flesh blood.
3.) Give Peter a weakened version of his original power. Allow him to keep the powers of those he shares only a deep emotional bond with, while still being able to take the powers of others "one-at-a-time" with these. This would make Peter powerful again without becoming, well too powerful. And I mean DEEP emotional bonds, or other very deep running connections. That is, he can always fly (Nathan,) dream of the future (Angela,) and have super strength/agility (Mo

Sorry bout that.
I didn't mean cloak, I meant clock..
I also can see a few complications my suggesting may bring,
so instead of Peter switching places with his past; perhaps
he could steal his fathers ability in the past, to restore his
innate ability, or use baby touch n go, to turn on Peter's innate empathic mimicry.
I'm sick of Sylar his existence, he makes no sense and there's
no way Peter would let him live, after already killing his
father, brother, and failed attempts at his mom..
How could anyone forgive this?
Also, why on earth would Arthur Petrelli steal his own sons
ability, but not his slyar; the man who would later actually
kill him?
These plots make no sense, and I'm no longer amused with it.
Of course Claire's blood could heal Nathan, why would
Angela be so stupid?

I hardly watch the show anymore because it no longer makes any sense. In the beginning of one season, hiro's in the office board out of his mind, while he speeds up the cloak, and the speeds it back down;demonstrating he can easily move forward and back in time at will.. Yet when Charlie is kidnapped by Samuel, it seems he all the sudden forgot this simple fact..
I really hate the fact that Peter doesn't have his Full abilities,
or the fact that when he borrowed hiro's time traveling ability, he didn't go back in time and warn himself that his father would steal all his abilities. Perhaps trade places with himself??

If this season ends up being the last one, the whole show will have been a complete waste of time...
1) Remember that African dude who said Parkman was a prophet?!? what happened with that.
2) Peter's scar/ bad ass future peter will never be created.
3) Sylar has to die... He's great and all, but if they leave him alive, the entire point of the first season is gone.
4) Bad ass Ninja Hiro will never exist... (I'd honestly prefer him over the boring lovestruck Hiro that has been around since the end of season 1)
5) Why was Sylar's son named Noah?!?! Coincidence??? I think not.
It's not like HEROES exists in the real world anyway, so just jump it ahead to the HEROES from "Five Years Gone" and let everyone enjoy some brawling and general badassery.

December 4th, 2009 12:26 PM
IMO this season is great and Heroes doesn't need a "fix". It could however certainly use improvements
1) Fade-out Claire. Not necessarily kill her, but lower her importance. The most annoying thing for this character is not her whinyness, it's the fact that we get Claire fed-spoon every single episode. Turning her evil wouldn't even make any sense unless she got totally brainwashed.
2) Concretize Nathan's last words. Allow Peter to become THE world savior he -and most fans- want him to be. Several viewers identify to him, and it sucks when "your" hero keeps failing. He's long due for his glory moment, and more importantly his revenge against Sylar (Sylar doesn't necessarily needs to die, but a power reset wouldn't hurt).
Now what I'd like to see in Season 5:
Bring Samson as S5's main villain. Like, give a reason for Samuel to want him in his carnival and exploit Claire's blood to heal him. Samson then obviously turns against Samuel and begins to eats carnies.

After 4 series it'd be cool to have them just accept they cannot retain their normal lives and get on with facing the consequences of having powers. They need to be exposed to the world and we see how the world deals with them (I don't like the show, but kind of the way True Blood did with vampires). Claire needs to either become bad ass or grow up. She can't fit in and she can't stand out, deal with it and move on. If she wasn't such a little attention seeker then there would be no issue. She was so interesting in season 1, her murder and revenge on the quarterback etc. and it was really interesting to see such a strong young female on tv, she's now been reduced to some dippy airhead attention seeking numpty. Whinging constantly how she doesn't fit in and then when HRG wipes her slate clean and she starts a new life she decides she wants to be able to show everyone how different she is. Alright, if we want to fix heroes the show needs one main thing. Action. I'm tired of the characters talking about their hardships and how difficult their lives are. Let's be honest here people, if we lived in a world like they do, after awhile, the freaks would revolt. And frankly we need more of this. Heroes was absolutely wonderful its first season. It's never been really good since, yet my family and I keep watching every episode.
Quick thoughts:
1. Mohinder has been awful ever since he first worked for Bob. Being fooled once by Sylar was okay; being fooled by Bob made him an idiot. The storyline with him getting powers was awful. Having him suddenly married to a bitchy idiot hasn't improved his story line. And I'm saying all this despite thinking the actor devastatingly sexy. I look forward to seeing him do something else.
2. Personally, I think the story device that Peter has one power at a time is interesting. Keep it. Explain to us doltish viewers just what use the power of visualizing sounds has or *lose* the deaf girlfriend.
3. Claire as everyone's confidante (Tracy, her dad, etc.) has been a snooze, but I can't see her suddenly becoming evil. The Heroes writers' messing with established characters with little justification has been the main flaw since seaso

I want future badass Claire
I like Ali Larter, just make her half nude more often
Make Peter more powerful and have him seek out revenge and not stop until there is a resolution, which hopefully means someone dies
Elle was killed and burned, she will never be back
bring back Claire's hot real mom, she can join the circus with Claire and Doyle
it's so obvious that peter will have to go to the carnival to find Claire and tell her the full story about Nathan and her crazy grandma

1) Stop making Hiro such an idiot, his character is that of a child, i just think he needs to make smarter decisions when he time travels, etc. (Example: If he went back in time to stop Mohinder from going to the carnival, then Samuel would never have found out about his true power, his brother would be alive, Samuel would have never taken Charlie. Happily ever after)
2) Make Samuel do something already!!! its been a whole season and he has shown us nearly nothing!! Either destroy the world or keep given out crappy prizes in your 2nd rate carnival.
3) Do something with Claire aside from the fact that she feels like an outsider,(just like every other teenager) or every other person with a power. She is the only person who makes a bigger deal about her abilities than anyone else. So what she can heal really fast and not feel pain. Shes a teenager in college!!! Not a 50 year old slave in 3rd world country... Make her evil and let her get her a$$ kicked.

4)now that Sylar is final
