Grace Park Added to Cast of Hawaii Five-O
It's shaping up to be a welcome pilot season for Battlestar Galactica fans.
A few days after it was announced that Katee Sackhoff had landed a lead role on a new detective series, Grace Park - who played Sharon "Boomer" Valerii on the iconic sci-fi drama - has been added to the cast of the Hawaii Five-O remake.
In the updated version of the series, which revolves around an elite branch of the Hawaii State Police, Park will portray Kona Kalakaua, the niece of squad member Chin Ho Kelly, already cast as Daniel Dae Kim.
The character is a champion surfer and recent graduate of the police academy that's headed by Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin).
In even more casting news related to Battlestar Galactica: James Callis (Gaius Baltar) will recur on FlashForward this spring.
