ABC has released six sneak preview clips of this week's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy, "State of Love and Trust." As you might expect, there's a lot to cover in six previews.

In the first clip below, Derek nervously addresses staff members of Seattle Grace, having controversially ousted Richard and assumed the position of Interim Chief of Surgery.

How do you think he'll do? The doctors have their own ideas ...

Follow the jump for five more clips from this Thursday's episode. Cristina wonders why she's been removed from Teddy's services, and Derek and Richard have it out again.

Elsewhere, Callie (amusingly) ends up smack in the middle of Mark and Lexie's unfolding relationship drama, and perhaps tells both sides more than they wanted to hear ...

If the ambiitious side of Der is now surfacing, I kinda am taken aback by the way his tatics have changed. I guess it gives Der a strong storyline, but I have doubts as to whether it'll be a permanent post as chief. If Richard is still going to be in GA, will he just be another surgeon? Will the board be happy if all the cost cutting is suddenly reversed by Der? Reemploying staffers who made errors will be a bit of a slap in the face for the staff who got the chop for doing nothing wrong. Tthe merger can't be undone, Alex is being a bit naive if he thinks the SGH staff are going to all return

I think PD is so happy he's getting to show the ambitious side of Der, and not the will they/won't they MerDer relationship. Der is not being very McDreamy and the way he looks in the 'I am the interim chief' clip is trying to get the staff to see him as the boss man. I don't think Der's quite realised how much time SGMWH is going to take over his life. I think time with Mer is going to suffer. :(((

Mark was scared when told Addison he wanted to stay with her in L.A He was feeling lonely, and he thought he wouldn't be able to deal with all the stuff alone. An he was drunk. He loves Lexie, Addison made that clear with her questioning. But Lexie is not considering all Mark is dealing with. She only thinks in herself.

Mark is not being inmature... Lexie has tu accept Mark's daugther... How can Mark just kick his daughter out of his house just bacuse lexie didn't want to accept her? She is pregnant, how can he tell her to go somewhere else= She doesn't has where to go.

As far as Team Mark vs Team Lexie I'm now leading towards Team Lexie. At first I thought Lexie was being immature when she told Mark she slept w/Alex or @ least the way she said it. Now after seeing this sneak Mark is being a very hypocritical, immature baby and should get OVER IT they broke up so his logic is unclear. I get why Lexie broke up with him (I mean a stepgrandma @ 24 and Mark expected Lexie to help raise a kid in the 2nd yr of her residency???????? she's young and needs more exploration in her life) As for Derek and the Chief I KNEW IT! At first I thought Derek was being a nice guy but then when seeing the end of last epi I thought "man you want to be chief" McDreamy has to have a dark side :D

To COftw:
You never for sure with Grey's,do you? I really like Lexie - she is generally a good person or at least she tries to be. She is 24 or 25 and there is a very big difference from seeing somebody older than you are and then suddenly also having to take on a greedy teenager and her infant. If it were me I would have done the exact same thing. Mark's maturity level is really that of a teenager - I mean come on! I am sure Mark and Lexie still have a lot of love for each other - but that doesn't mean it will work out. I think it would be good for her to have some fun - embrace life - take some chances. Jackson is man - so far unattached. I don't think he would want anything big from her - he's too competive and focussed on his work for that. I all for some fun for Lexie.

OMG!!!! No one secrets are safe with Callie...LMAO!!!

I sorry for my english I'm with MerDer4EveR and Humbugged, and with callie (good for all things she says to him)
I love mark, I really do, I don't know why is shonda fxxxing the character, they are doing a poor job with his storyline, the daughter, THAT daughter,..., please someone send her with her mumy and let his stubble grow up!!!

I don't why people are saying that Meredith is not supporting Derek. She is supporting Derek and Richard. She doesn't have to choose who to support she can support the both of them. As for Mark and Lexie, I glad this happening to Lexie, I'm on Mark side on this one, Lexie presented herself as a good girl and Mark put her on a pedestal. Now that pedestal came crashing so suffered a little Lexie. Anyway ever since the Thatcher liver transplant, I'm disliking Lexie, she pissed me off on that episode and she still pissed me off.

LOL @ BRIDGET! Do you see a relationship going on between Lexie and Jackson? I kind of saw it when they showed the new pic of Lexie with her hair blonde. Jackson is going to get some loving... from a Mercy Wester or a Seattly Gracer. =D The only one that's single now is Lexie. So... does Lexie dye her hair for Jackson? Or, men in general?

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

When we say things like "people don't change" it drives scientist crazy because change is literally the only constant in all of science. Energy. Matter. It's always changing, morphing, merging, growing, dying. It's the way people try not to change that's unnatural. The way we cling to what things were instead of letting things be what they are. The way we cling to old memories instead of forming new ones. The way we insist on believing despite every scientific indication that anything in this lifetime is permanent. Change is constant. How we experience change that's up to us. It can feel like death or it can feel like a second chance at life. If we open our fingers, loosen our grips, go with it, it can feel like pure adrenaline. Like at any moment we can have another chance at life. Like at any moment, we can be born all over again.

Callie: Did anyone ever think you two were a couple?
Meredith: No, because we screw boys like whores on tequila.
Cristina: Then we either try to marry them or drown ourselves.
Callie: Huh.
