Chuck & Blair vs. Dan & Blair: More Gossip Girl Teasers
The Gossip Girl PR machine is firing on all cylinders leading up to the show's hugely-hyped return Monday night. Executive producer Stephanie Savage is offering up more sound bites than we can even keep track of. Her latest? Juicy tidbits on Chair ... and Dair.
That's right, you've probably heard the rumors going around that something is to happen between Dan and Blair on Gossip Girl. Impossible, right? Well, to quote Steph ...
“There are only so many combinations [you can explore] on the show, so I think you have to be open to all of them at some point. So, certainly, we have an open mind when it comes to them… Those two are really gold when they’re together."
"They have great on-screen chemistry.”
Uhhhh.
DARE TO DAIR: It could happen ... maybe.
We'll just let that one simmer and move on to what she calls good news about Chuck and Blair: “The good news about Chuck and Blair is that when we come back [in Monday's "The Hurt Locket"] they’ve got a really incredible run with each other," Savage says.
"They’re [involved] in a very emotional storyline regarding the mystery lady at Bart’s grave. They solve that mystery together and it’s a great example of Chuck and Blair working together and being very emotionally supportive of each other.”
Pretty much in line with what we've read and heard up until now.
As for this winter's Gossip Girl spoiler that shall not be spoken of ...
"We feel those guys are made for each other,” Stephanie says of Chair. “But it’s not going to be an easy ride because of their personalities and their dynamic. It’s our job to throw some obstacles in their path, but we always root for them to find their way back to each other.”
Well, that's not carefully worded at all!

I was a big Chuck and Blair fan, but now I am routing for Dan and Blair. Its the perfect setup. Very Pacey and Joey, and Seth and Summer. The hate/oppisite thing going on, then the growing friendship/love. This could be another great love. There is no way that Serena and Dan will ever have the Great Love feel..... and you will always wonder what scheme would break Chuck and Blair up in the end. I could see Blair marrying Dan

since the first kiss scene between chuck and blair, I have been a very big fan of chair. but now I just think that their relationship is fizzled. you saw everything and it's time to see something new. And you got it now ! with DAIR ! this relationship really got something amazing, because it's so surprising and unbelievable. Chuck and Blair are just the same, but Dan and Blair are totally opposites and this makes it ! The chemistry just works. so, I love them. I'm a huge Dair-Fan, I have to admit. they should be together.

Dair is so refreshing and cute! I'm all for it! :) chair was great admitedly but once the games and backstabbing got the best of it too, < THAT meant it was not meant to be
Dan is what blair deserves! A taste of what a real long phone calls-movies-cuddling-jibes-laughter relationship is! :)

As much as I don't think that Dan and Blair as a couple,they're happening and it's fine for me.But,if Blair ends up with anyone but Chuck,the writers will be crazy.C'mon,Blair was his first and only love,and she also get him out of depression and saved his life.He was ready to make her night with Nate perfect just for she to be happy.They're the gratest couple of the show.They just can't end up apart.
