Parenthood is about to get a lot prettier.

On next week's new episode, Minka Kelly will guest star as Gaby Moss, an Asperger’s tutor that helps with Kristina and Adam's son, Max.

For producer Jason Katims, there was never any doubt about who he wanted to play this role: his former Friday Night Lights star.

“On the one hand, she’s charming and easy-going,” Katims told EW.com. “But she’s also quietly forceful, which is something this role requires. It’s a tough position to come in and tell anybody, ‘Hey, you’re not doing a good job with your kid.’”

Kelly will appear on two episodes of the drama. But don't rule out more down the line.

“Should we get more seasons of the show and if she’s available, I would love to [bring her back]," Katims said. "We’re waiting to see on both fronts.”
