Rob Lowe is about to step foot in Pawnee, Indiana.
The actor, who is leaving Brothers & Sisters at the end of this season, debuts on Parks and Recreation this month. Lowe will play Chris Traeger, an employee brought in to fix the town's budget crisis.
Said Executive Producer Michael Schur to Entertainment Weekly: Traeger wins everyone over with his “very optimistic, positive, forward-thinking” attitude and he “very quickly falls into a romantic entanglement” with one of the locals.
Adam Scott, formerly of Party Down, is also coming on board Parks and Recreation. He'll play a co-worker of Lowe's character.
