gg without Blair and Chuck would be nothing, and that's why season 3 sucked, not enough of them. 2 or 3 scenes together each episode? like cyrus ( who also needs more screentime) would say: NOT ENOUGH

"Best character: Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf (tie). Disclaimer: This is not to disparage other characters, all of which we enjoy. But to us, Chuck and Blair remain the heart of Gossip Girl. Together or apart, Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester steal every scene with humor, passion, chemistry and just enough mischief under the surface to keep things interesting."
"Chuck and Blair remain the heart and soul of Gossip Girl."
CHUCK AND BLAIR OWNS GG.
LEIGHTON MEESTER AND ED WESTWICK PAWN GG.
their acting is the best.
that's all.
whoever jeaolus get over it.
their acting is indeed the best among other stars in GG.
that's why they stole the show.

I hate Dan, can georgina baby's really be his so he can go away with her? and I really hope i dont have to see dair next season, because the day it happens, it's the day I'll say goodbye to gg and never looks back.
Blair and Chuck are the only characters I care about, but really, this season wasnt good for them. Chuck as a owner of a hotel is so boring, he acts like a 40 year old, and Blair trying to rule NYU, so lame. And as a couple they barely got screentime together or SL. only in the end of the season, but the drama they wrote for them was so stupid. chuck and jenny? really writers? I hope next season improve, I wanna see Blair and Chuck being like seasons 1 and 2, when they were fun, evil, sexy, hot. And please, can we get a sexy scene? it's been too long. My grade? D.
I am of the opinion that a B is far, FAR too generous. Honestly, I'd give it an F, because that's what it did--it failed. Failed in continuity, in characterization, in comparison to the previous seasons.

I think B is a fair grade! The season was good and enjoyable but did lack a little spark. Of course I agree with the best characters being Chuck and Blair (DUH! LOL). And I seriously love how you don't even have to say who the worst character is LOL. But I totally disagree with "The Debarted" being the best episode of the season. Though I loved it I definitely thought the season finale was the BEST episode of the season and even the episodes leading up to the finale could beat "The Debarted"(for me). Anyway, overall I think its a pretty good evaluation of the season! I am so damn excited for season 4! its gonna be aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing!!!!!!!!!! :)

I forgot to add, the diff btwn college and high school is college students set their schedules so different schools wouldn't stop them from hanging out most of the time, the living arrangements should have made better sense, the loft should have been sold and Blair shouldn't have lived in the dorm and my grade for the finale A for the season C

All of these shows stumble with the advent of college and GG is one of the worst because they have New York as their backdrop. The idea that Chuck is running the hotel sans college degree is ridiculous, he should at least be taking business courses at Baruch, part of CUNY but a well respected business school. And Blair should give up on trying to rule a college like NYU or Columbia that's just not how they operate, perhaps she could pledge a sorority if the early stories are an example of how they see her but I think it's okay for her to mature just a bit. Blair's line to Serena in the finale pretty much summed up this season for Serena "her life is like a summer vacation", maybe she's not college material but how about cooking school, we have a couple of great ones here in NYC. There was a point where season 3 took a turn and got focused, there were flaws but it got better, I hope the momentum carries into season 4.

I agree that Chuck and Blair are very interesting characters to watch, but this obsession with them is getting seriously boring.. It's no wonder that other characters can't develope better storylines etc., if they don't seem important to the show..

oh REAL last thing:
another indication of how far it's fallen: the limited character interactions. rufus and lily. serena and nate. blair and chuck. jenny and damien and then nate. dan and vanessa. those were the only interactions this whole season. sprinkle a little rufus and jenny, dan and nate, and serena and blair in occasionally. i completely forgot that dan and jenny were siblings until like the finale or something where they talked again. their funny conversations were a highlight from the early days of gossip girl. as well as chuck and nate's friendship. where'd that go? the characters need to revert to how they were. dan needs to be mature, but not so incredibly annoying and judgmental and 'i deserve this dumb writing program the most out of everyone on the planet and if i don't get it, my life is over.' jenny needs to stop being annoying and such a loser. blair and chuck are fine. they're still scheming and ambitious and "dangerous" like before. just need better stories. ruf

oh and last thing: gossip girl used to have A LOT of heart before. underneath the scandal and twists and drama and manipulation were stories of family and friendship and love. and now we have this: step-siblings and people who share siblings sleeping together. not scandelous, just kinda super duper very VERY gross.

on it's own, the season get's a B- for me. but compared to the magic of the first two seasons, ESPECIALLY the first, i bring it down to a D. so so so many things irked me about this season. everything just fit together so brilliantly in season 1 and here everything was disjointed. i kept waiting for the dumb jenny show to end and it never did. the girl was dumber than even serena for me this season. she just did whatever she wanted, ruined whoeever she touched for no reason at all. she has a good family, money, everything. so why is she so insufferable and such a brat? no excuse at all. not to mention that if nate spoke kind words to her, she fell in love with him. next epiode, if serena and her had a tiny fight, she decides to take it upon herself to break up their parents? um, what? seriously? the best parts of the season were the little snippets of vintage gossip girl in some episodes and they were ALWAYS with blair and chuck. but as a whole, i did not at all dig this season. not to
I really think that season three was kinda different from the other seasons cause almost all of them are going to college and they are growing up and being more mature.
I loved all the Chuck and Blair drama!! No GG without them!
I think it was interesting to watch Jenny too cause she was trying to figure out who she was and she was always doing something stupid, but I felt so sorry for her. She was also still in High School as Queen B which was fun to watch!
My favourite episodes:
Episode 2 - The Freshman
Episode 8 - The Grandfather: Part II
Episode 15 - The Sixteen Year Old Virgin
Episode 16 - The Empire Strikes Jack
Episode 17 - Inglourious Bassterds
Episode 22 - Last Tango , Then Paris
I really hope to see more Blair and Chuck drama in season four, and to see wht happens with Dan and Georgina..
I'm also very excited to see Jenny coming back hopefully changed and a little more down to earth

Chuck and Blair are the aboslute best thing about the show.
Well I most agreed that the best character in the show are in fact Chuck and Blair I totally love them
for season 4 I will be looking for continuation of stories less gaps
1-More CHAIR
2-Less Danessa
3-More Jenny
4-More lily , lies and being manipulative I want them to bring back the love child
5-Less Brooklyn
6-More Columbia and UES
7-Finally most importantly find something for Serena to do other hook up with every man on da show same for Nate give the a purpose not together they don't really work as couple

Yes and yes. Even when I hate what they're doing to their characters I'll watch their scenes, Chuck and Blair are the show to me. I even watched Vanessa scenes to see Blair! How sad is that? I just want Jenny away from them all, someone needs to put her in her place. Hate her. I also hope there's not a repeat of the NYU storyline in Columbia, I hate seeing Blair like that, she's the Queen B!

agree with most of you...Chair is definitely the heart of the show!
and LOL at the worst character HAHAHA she needs to leave the show permanently
and my hope for next season is Chair reunion and engagement!!!!!
In a season that many fans felt lacked the drama of the first two,
UM... Season 2 finale wasnt dramatic at all.... nothing really happened besides chair.
s1 finale was good, but i find this finale so much better! TOP 6 eps of GG season 3
1. last tango then paris
2. Ex husbands and wives
3. The debarted
4. The sixteen year old virgin
5. The treasure of serena madre

The Debarted was by far my most favourite episode.
Chuck and Blair, together or apart, are always the heart of GG, imo.
Let's hope s.4 will be more entertaining and witty with lots of interaction and connected storylines between NJBC.
I don't care for the couples as much as I care for interesting stories and continuity in any show.
