Jason Priestley to Guest Star on Scoundrels

by at . Comments

Former Beverly Hills: 90210 star Jason Priestley is returning to TV.

The heart throb will be joining ABC’s upcoming comedy-drama Scoundrels for a multi-episode arc this summer, providing a boost to the new series debuting Sunday, June 20.

Jason has been cast as a ubiquitous TV personality who becomes immediately smitten with Leven Rambin's (All My Children, Grey's Anatomy) aspiring-actress character, Heather.

Scoundrels stars Virginia Madsen as the matriarch of a family of small-time crooks. Does it sound like a show you would give a chance - with or without Jason Priestley?

Wow they kept the name West! In NZ it was ironic that they were Wests as they were a semi generalisation of the residents who lived in West Auckland, almost white trashy with love for black clothes, big motors and connections to the criminal world. This has been funny reading reviews of these episodes, I was curious when I heard an American version was being made. The original to this show(New Zealand programme called "Outrageous Fortune) is in its 6th and final season over here. Funny to hear some of the same names and scenarios being played out in an American setting. The show got monotonous in its middle seasons and I didnt keep up but it is now in its final season and has our country in its grips with all the drama, some calling it our best tv prgramme ever...not that we are known for our tv...the show has some great stories to tell with some real deep moments as well as LOL's, I hope you stick in there..... one question, in the NZ version the dumb twin brother has a dumb mate, which playes for some easy hillarious tv scriptwriting, does your twin have a best friend mate that they get up to mischief with? Cheers
